Chapter 1: The Hero is born part 1

Few years has pass, as we all zoom through the popular and busy city of Megapolis. Heading straight towards a small noodle shop. Through the window, we see a young girl, sitting on the chair, leaning forward as her brown eyes glow in awe and amazed along with a boy with a head band tied on his forehead as they listen towards to a man who was wearing a glasses while telling a story.

"The thing you need to understand about the old legends is that the story is never finished. There maybe no pages left to turn, but there is always more to the journey. Rising from the Netherworld, the Demon Bull King attacked. No one could stop him, no one could resist. No one except. . . The legendary Monkey King. The Monkey King used his magical staff to pick up a nearby mountain. He trapped the Demon Bull King underneath it. The Monkey King sealed the mountain with the stff that no other being could not weild, trapping the Demon Bull King forever. With the battle won, the Monkey King vanished, never to be seen again. Legend says that the staff still lies on top of that mountain, the one thing keeping our world from certain destruction. And with the Demon Bull King gone, civilization was able to advance into the amazing city we now live in. A world of elegant cultures, gentle loving people, a city brimming with five-star cuisine, and all because of the Monkey King."

After he finished the story, the two teens stared in awe and amazement at the end of the story." Oh, that's so good! Monkey King's so cool! He's so strong and handsome! Right Aria?" the boy gushed over before asking the golden hair girl beside him. Aria, gave a small smile and nodded." Yeah!" before betting a crow on her shoulder, who perch itself on her shoulder while she listen to the stories.

"Oh, Mk. And you thought you knew all the Monkey King stories." The young adult, who was wearing a glasses said while chuckling at him. Mk looks at him as he pulls out his book to show the pictures." Oh, But I do! I got his whole life documented extensively in this unauthorized autobiograby of Monkey King. Written and illustrated by yours truly along with Aria. Like I knew he was born from a stone, and live behind a waterfall with his sweet little baby monkey friends! And, and, and Oh!" Mk rumbles as Aria let out a giggle while covering her mouth as the crow on her shoulder shook its head and sigh.

"It's nice to know someone's taking in all these stories. Pearls of wisdom dripping from my lips." said the man as Aria smile at him while the crow gave him a look that says 'are you serious'." Well, you know the deal. One story, one free bowl of Zha jiang mian. Hmm?"

"Mr. Tang, I don't think Pigsy would like that." Aria said with a nervous smile on her face, knowing how her boss would react when Mk gave him a free bowl without paying it." Huh? Oh right, free noodles! Yep, on it. How heavy do you think a mountain is? Compare to like-"Mk stop talking after attempts to grab the bowl when someone throws a spoon at him. Aria backs up as the crow let out a surprise squak, flapping its wings a bit. " Free noodles!?" an angry voice shouted out as it revealed Pigsy, the owner of noodle shop and the boss of Mk and Aria. He proceed took the noodles.

"No one gets a free meal at Pigsy's! I'm not running a charity here, Tang!" He shouted at Tang, who was unaffected by his anger." Ah, but Pigsy. I was paying with wisdom." He said as Aria sweat drops at him while the crow face palm itself using its wings." Yeah? Well, wisdom don't pay the rent you freeloader! And you!" Pigsy shouted as he angrily points at Mk, who squeak in fear and use Aria as a shield to protection, much the crow dislike as it start cawing at him, while aggressive flapping it's wings.

" You've been slacking off all morning! I've got a dozen orders that need to go out, so quit slacking and get packing!" Pigsy shouted at him as Mk slowly peek out behind Aria's shouder to look at Pigsy with a sheepish smile on his face." Yeah, I was about to take my break. So. . ." he trailed off as Aria look nervous when she saw the pissed expression on Pigsy's face." You shouldn't say that Mk." Aria whisper to him as Mk smile nervously at her." Break? Break?! There's no break in war! I need workers. Soldiers in the army of Pigsy's Noodles, Home of the world's longest noodles. How else am I gonna expand my business into enemy territory?" he said as Aria point something behind him with nervous smile on her face." You mean across the street?" she pointed out as Pigsy glares at the other pig man from his shop as the pig man glares back at him.
