Chapter 5

You can discern a bad man in just a single sight

V - Underwater Kingdom

"Let's just make haste. I don't want to stay here any longer. The sight of his home makes me gag," Mariana said while showing her disgust.

Both her brothers scoffed. They laughed by hearing Mariana's remark. Who wouldn't be? It's hilarious, the way Mariana tried to vomit is funny.

They were about to make their sail faster than before but a sudden strong storm came. The waters became frantic and the air blow strongly. Mariana tried to reach out for something to hold on. She want to balance herself or else she will be thrown in the waters. The clouds became dark and lightnings started to emerge.

"Hold on! This is just a passing storm," Pegasus exclaimed. His voice is literally overpowered by the strong winds.

"Are you sure about this being a passing storm? Maybe Poseidon have known that we are here." Chrysaor answered in a shout.

Mariana, on the other hand, is having a huge problem. She doesn't have a thing to hold on and the barrel that she sat on is wiggling. She felt nauseous. Looks like her words just a minute ago came to her. Karma is a real bitch.

Although being able to control the waters, she doesn't have the hold of the storm. In fact, she hates storms.

Mariana, in shock, looked at the incoming wave. A huge wave is approaching them. She's sure that if that wave will hit them, they will be engulfed or submerged into the ocean. Worst thing possible, they will be captured by the sea guards, their father's guard.

"What a luck we have," she said as the wave totally engulfed them.

They tried to swim upwards, reaching the surface in a fast pace but a dozen of guards encircled the three of them.

"Looks like another storm has hit us," Pegasus said in a whisper, enough for the three of them to hear.

Since they are children of Poseidon, they have the gift of water breathing. They are able to breath and talk underwater.

Mariana heaved a sigh. There's nothing she can do against a dozen sea guards. As much as possible, she wanted to lay low. She doesn't want to use her ability or else she will face her father and he will know her existence which Mariana didn't like at all. Their father will just be a hindrance to their mission of retrieving their mother, Medusa.

"Cast bubbles to them," ordered the leader of the sea guards that captured them. One of the sea guard heed to his order. With one move of his hand, the heads of the three is being protected by air bubbles. It will make them breath underwater. Since they don't know that the three are children of their king, it's necessary to cast air bubbles or else they are dead - well, if they were normal humans but they are demi gods themselves.

After the cast, the leader looked at the three. "What are you doing in the surface of Atlantis. It is forbidden to take this route to wherever you're heading to."

"We didn't know that it is forbidden to pass through here," Pegasus answered.

"Lies," the leader said. "Bring them to the God. Let him decide on what will he do to these three."
