Chapter fourteen Sam's POV

Later that night after we started becoming okay friends, we decided to play a game.

Now of course, what other game would four hormonal teenagers play than truth or dare? I mean, it's a classic for teens and we thought why not?

We are all sitting on the floor basically laughing at each other for being so stupid. It's Cady's turn first.

"Okay, um Tripp truth or dare?" She asks and smiles widely.

"Okay uh truth." He says and everyone rolls their eyes jokingly. He must not be much of a talker and he must be pretty shy. And there's pain behind those eyes. I know it, because I've felt it.

"Right okay ummm what's your favorite color?" She asks, probably unable to think of something else to say.

"Blue. Definitely ocean blue." He says and looks happy yet pained at the same time. Interesting..

"Anna- truth or dare." Tripp quickly asks and shakes the hair out of his eyes. So adorable. Whoa did I just think that? Hmm...

"Dareeeee." She says and sits on Cady's lap.

"I dare you to kiss Cady." Anna shrugs and pulls Cady in for a kiss. It's sweet really. They make a very cute couple.

Anna is slightly blushing as she pulls away from the kiss. "Sam, truth or dare?" She asks me and I ponder about what one I should choose. I figure that I should just play it safe.

"Truth please."

"Is Samuel your real name?"

Whoa maybe I should have chosen dare...

I glance around the room and see Tripp and Cady look wide eyed at Anna.

"Guys, it's okay. Um no it's not. My real name is Samantha and yes I am transgender. But I am a man on the inside." I tell them and look at Tripp. His opinion weirdly matters to me more than the girls' opinions.

"And that's fine! I didn't mean to offend you Sam, I just wanted to make sure..." Anna says a little embarrassed.

"Anna it's fine! Really, it's okay to ask. You didn't offend me, I guess I just wasn't expecting that question. And if you have any other questions just ask. Really it's okay with me." I tell her and she lets out a sigh of relief.

The game continues and we really only ask each other dumb questions, like what's your favorite cereal, and what celebrity would you bang, you know typical stuff. Anna had to give Cady a lap dance which made me, and I'm pretty sure Tripp as well, feel slightly uncomfortable. But they seemed to enjoy it so hey, that's fine too.

It was my turn.

"Uh dare." I say and suddenly get a little nervous. Anna narrows her eyes.

"I dare you, to kiss Tripp. On the lips."

My heart flies to throat and I can barely breathe. Do I want to kiss him? I mean his lips look really good...his lips what? Oh my gosh...

I move over to Tripp and before I can even reach him, he gets up and walks right out of the room.

I just sat there dumbfounded. What did I do?
