Part 1:

(Circe's pov)

For pretty much the first time in my life, my father actually thought I was useful and not a disgrace to the family. He was still mad at me for not getting into Slytherin but I don't care about that. My father started trusting me with missions, tasks if you will and I did them for two reasons. One, to prove to my father that I am not weak or useless and two, because I needed to figure out a way to stop fainting when I see blood. I know they aren't the best reasons but they are kinda important to me. Overall I felt like I was doing fine but my brothers would say that's far from the truth.

I opened my eyes to see my two brothers standing a few feet away. The last thing I remembered was Mattheo hitting me with a glass bottle. My head hurts. Badly. I touched my hair and felt fragments of glass and then blood. I was going to have to take a shower and it was going to be a pain trying to get all the blood and glass out of my hair. "You owe me 10 gallons, each" I said sternly

"What for?" Mattho asked

"My hair, what else? It's going to be a pain in the butt to clean out all of the glass and blood and then I am going to have to detangle it. I already showered this morning and now I am going to have to do it again" I got up and pushed past them into the bathroom "idiots" I muttered under my breath.

"What did you say?" Thomas asked leading on the doorframe of the bathroom

"I called you idiots" I repeated louder "You seem to know nothing about long, curly hair and how easily it gets tangled" Thomas moved and I shut the bathroom door.

I took a shower. I made sure all the glass was out and then washed it 2 or 3 times to get rid of all the blood. I dried off and brushed my hair, which took 5 minutes which seems short but it feels like it lasts 10 minutes. I went into my closet that was connected to the bathroom and picked out some clean clothes and changed into them.

I opened the bathroom door and to no surprise my brothers were still there. Thomas told me to sit down and I went to my bed and leaned against the frame and looked back at them. I could tell Thomas was annoyed while Mattheo seemed to not be annoyed but I couldn't quite pin the exact feeling. "What's been going on with you lately" Thomas asked

"The same thing that has been going on for a year I am just expressing it differently"

"Well this is no way to act"

I laughed "You sound like father sometimes and I mean your one to talk. We all deal with our feelings in different ways and we all deal with killing people in different ways. Thomas you have killed people, I remember hearing somewhere that when you killed your first person you locked yourself in your room and almost starved yourself to death because you didn't like yourself now that you killed. And Mattheo when you killed your first person you got drunk and tryed to kill yourself. You both tried to kill yourselves, I didn't. Before I went to Hogwarts I barely talked to anyone, I stayed in my room all day reading because no one cared about me. So I grew up without anyone who wanted to hear how I felt, no one cared, I had to keep all those thoughts to myself and now it's a habit I can't break, I am used to keeping my emotions and feelings bottled up. Growing up a Riddle you're not supposed to show weakness, so I hid my weaknesses behind knowledge, power, and maybe a little confidence. Now I just have more to hide my weaknesses behind, I have less weaknesses. I do what I want because for my whole entire life I feel like I have been locked in a cage" I apparated outside. I learned to apparate this summer from my father which is something I never wanted to learn from him but I guess it's nice that I can apparate now.

After a couple days I started calming down a little bit and my brothers left me alone until we needed to go shopping for school stuff. We went to get our school stuff, new books, quills, paper, robes, and a couple other things. Mattheo wanted to get ice cream so I went with him while Thomas went to some other shops.
