Chapter 19

TW: Daggers, smoking, blood, mentions of drinking

(Still Thomas's pov)

"Go, I can feel her coming back, I don't want to hurt you" She shouted

"We can help you" Mattheo told her

"You can't he-" She stopped talking and her eyes were now a solid black. She disappeared then reappeared behind us. We turned to look at her and she had a smirk on her face. Mattheo held his dagger up to her neck and I decided to follow, using Circe's dagger. We backed her into a wall. She smiled then she waved her hands and they flew into the air then came back and were floating in front of us, pointed at our necks. She grabbed them then disappeared.

"I'm going to go check the astronomy tower and you can check her dorm" I informed him then disapparated.

(Mattheo's pov)

I apparated to her dorm and she was on the balcony, smoking. "Hello Mattheo" She greeted me without turning to face me.

"Where did you get cigarettes?" I asked

"Theo gave them to me" I came up beside her and she glanced sideways at me "You want one?"

"No. Where is Theo?"

"He's in your common room" She replied "He's also drunk, just so you know"

"Why would I need to know that?"

"Because you might want to go check on him" She smiled

"What did you do?" I asked as I apparated to the common room. I saw him sitting on the couch, drinking. No one else was in the common room. I went over to him and saw he was bleeding. "What happened?" I asked him "Did Circe do this to you?"

"No, Enzo did" He looked completely emotionless

"Why?"

"Cuz I hurt him" He tilted his head slightly then grabbed my wand and it disappeared. He took the empty bottle in his hand and threw it at my head then punched me.

"What the-" He threw another punch but I moved out of the way. He grabbed me and started choking me. Suddenly Thomas pulled him off of me and Theodore fell to the floor, in pain.

"Why was he attacking you?" He asked

"I think Circe put him under a spell"

"You think she used the imperius curse on him?"

"Maybe"

Just then Circe appeared in front of me. Thomas grabbed her arm then their eyes glowed green and Circe fell to the ground.

"How did I get here" Theodore asked from behind me

"It's a long story," I replied. Theodore went to his dorm, he wasn't feeling the best and Thomas brought Circe up to our dorm and laid her on her bed then left, he had to go talk to father.

About thirty minutes later she was up. She sat up and placed her hand on her head then covered her face and groaned "I did it again didn't I?"

"Yeah, you feeling ok?" I asked

"Better than before, I don't feel her anymore"

"That's good" Thomas commented, coming into the room "Father has a task for us"

"All of us?" I asked

"No, just me and Circe"

"What's the task?"

"I'll tell you after dinner"

"I'm not hungry, I still have the taste of smoke and alcohol in my mouth" She shook her head "and I don't feel like going to the Great Hall right now"
