Chapter 20

"What do you guys want?" She asked "I will kill him if you don't put down your wand"

I put my hands up and dropped my wand to the floor. The look on Thomas's face was priceless, he was horrible at acting. I waved my hand and she went flying into the wall. Thomas grabbed the dagger back and my wand flew back into my hand and I pointed it at her again.

"Who are you guys?"

"I'm Thomas Riddle and this is my sister Circe Riddle aka the person who killed your sister"

I rolled my eyes then Thomas nodded. I whispered the spell under my breath and waved my wand. There was a green flash then she was dead. I looked away.

"Let's go" Thomas grabbed my hand and we apparated back to Hogwarts. He left me in my dorm and went to go talk to father. I showered and put on some fresh clothes then went down for dinner. I sat down next to Mattheo again.

"Your back already?" He asked

"Yeah"

"How are you feeling?"

"Fine"

"Want to talk about it?"

"Not really" I ate then went back up to my dorm and got ready for bed then went to sleep. I slept until 10 then since it was Christmas in a couple days I needed to get gifts. I headed into Hogsmeade and went to the same place as the year before and told him what I was thinking for this year. After that I went shopping for clothes and other little things then I headed back and put my stuff in my room and went to lunch.

"Where have you been all morning?" Thomas asked as I sat down across from him

"Yeah, did you sleep in or something?" Mattheo added

"Yes, then I went shopping for some new clothes"

The rest of the day went by slowly and then I finally fell asleep. I woke up the next morning to go pick up the gifts. Then I headed back to my dorm, wrapped, and hid the gifts. I went down to breakfast and sat by Mattheo. Thomas was not here yet "Do you know where Thomas is?" I asked

"He had to talk to father about something, he said he would be back by lunchtime"

"Oh, ok"

"Why, do you need to talk to him?"

"No, I was just wondering"

"Oh by the way happy Christmas Eve" He smiled

"Happy Christmas Eve" I replied. I ate a little bit but then lost my appetite and I felt like something was off. I pushed the plate forward and rested my head in my hands.

"What is it?" Mattheo asked

"What's what?"

"Don't be dumb, your acting weird, what's going on"

"I don't know, I just feel like something is wrong" I got up and started walking out. Mattheo caught up with me.

"You didn't wait for me"

I rolled my eyes "I wasn't aware I needed to" I closed my eyes then suddenly I was on the astronomy tower. Enzo was pinned to the wall by someone pointing a wand at him. I waved my hand and the wand flew into my hand.

"Stop" I shouted

The person looked over at me. They disappeared in black smoke then reapered behind me "Whatever you say, Miss Riddle" He grabbed his wand from my hand, cut the side of my neck with a knife, I grabbed it from his hands then turned to face him and shoved it into his thigh. He disappeared and never came back.
