Spider Demon: Rui

(Y/n) felt conflicted. She's the strongest jujutsu sorcerer second to her brother yet she's letting Inosuke fight this demon by himself and get all battered up. She's a Gojo, for crying out loud! She was about to step in when she caught a figure emerging fast. "Looks like he's in good hands." She murmured, teleporting away to Tanjiro just as the person severed the demons hand.

When she reached Tanjirō, she hadn't expected to see Nezuko strung up in the air by the threads, all bloody and cut all over. Tanjirō was in worse shape. The boy had lacerations all over him.

"I won't ever let you have Nezuko!! You can't forge a bond based on fear and control!" Tanjirō shouted at the demon, breathing heavily.

(Y/n) swiftly jumped in the air, using her Sai's to cut the threads ensnaring Nezuko. The female gojo caught her, landing on the ground. Laying Tanjirō's sister down, she looked at the two males.

(Y/n) kept her Infinity on, approaching the demon and Tanjirō, "Yo!" Their attention turned to her. The (h/c)-ette turned to the demon, "So what's this I hear about bonds?" She bent over a little.

Tanjiro explained what was going on. Apparently this demon (Rui) desired the close bonds that a family has and expected family members to perform their respective roles he has given to them. The Kamado boy had even smelt fear coming from the female demons.

The Kamado boy explained how he treated his 'sister' and called him out on it as Rui physically abuses her. He then told the (h/c)-ette how Rui wants his sister so he can develop a bond with her after he witnessed Nezuko shielding Tanjiro from his threads.

"He's also a Twelve Kizuki!" Tanjirō informed, Rui's eyes showing the number five.

(Y/n) looked at Rui with slight curiosity, "How do you expect to have a family if all you do is mistreat them and control them out of fear? That isn't a bond at all." His personality sort of reminds of Naoya Zenin. The bastard treated Maki and Mai like shit and opted to marry Mai or her because they had a bust and ass?! Sexist.

"Any family member who can't fulfill their roles in protecting me are worthless and as good as dead." Rui spoke in a leveled voice.

(Y/n) pondered for a moment. The idea she had was incredibly stupid but if she can make Rui go over to their side, maybe it could be a win for them. Besides, he seemed to really yearn for a family...for a bond.

The female gojo has a elder brother and she loves him dearly to the point she'll even sacrifice her life for him. Without Satoru, she probably wouldn't be where she is today. He's her joy just as she is to him. They were like two peas in a pod. Inseparable. (Y/n) felt pity for the lower moon for all he wanted was a family. Sigh. She might regret this, but....life is all about challenges.

Take Choso for an instant, he's a curse yet he helped (Y/n) and her friends....yeah.

(Y/n) looked at the lower moon, "Listen, if you stop killing people and eating them, I'd be happy to be your big sister...I've always wanted a younger brother anyways." Rui looked at her intently with a bit of hope, "But we'll do it my way." She pointedly said. "So, how about it....?" She trailed off, not knowing his name.

"Rui."

"Ah. How about it, Rui?" (Y/n) grinned at him. Rui looked at the female gojo with a thoughtful look. He couldn't see her eyes, but her body emitted warmth. The lower moon dropped his arms, taking slow steps towards her, before rushing into her chest, tears escaping his eyes when he felt her arms wrapped around him, "There, there." She patted his head, making Rui cry loudly, a faint memory appearing in his mind. Who were those people? They feel warm...just like her...

Tanjiro watched speechless. He couldn't believe (Y/n) actually convinced Rui to stop his heinous actions.

"Rui? Is is possible for you to shrink...? Like Nezuko? Or is it not all demons can do it?" (Y/n) questioned.
