Chapter Fourtris

(Tobias's POV)

Tonight is the annual initiate capture the flag. Tris and I are so excited. I can't wait until tonight. We're using the same strategy as last year. Picking the fastest runners. Not the muscly ones. The initiates have improved a lot since when they first got here. The game starts at 2:30am. The initiates are in for a rude awakening. Right now, I'm heading down to the Dauntless Jewels with Zeke we are going to propose to our girlfriends tonight. Zeke, Shauna, Will, and Christina a. are captaining a team, while Tris, Marlene, Uriah and I are captaining the other. I cant believe I'm going to do it. We've only dated for 1year now. I hope she says yes. It took me 1 hour and 25 minutes to pick one out. (A/N it's the ring at the top.) I'm going to get 4+6=10 engraved in the ring. This is so nerve wracking. Zeke picked out a ring with two big diamonds on it. He got be my forever? Engraved on it. I'm proposing by the Ferris wheel. I come home and hide it in my underwear drawer. I head down to the dining hall for dinner. Tris is out shopping with the other girls in our group. It's now dinner. Today has gone by fast. Yes! Hamburgers and fries for dinner. I'll top that off with some Dauntless cake. That sounds good. I get in line behind Tris. I grab her waist. She jumps a little bit. "Hey how was shopping?" I ask her. "Exhausting as always." She answers. We get our food and and eat dinner. Zeke and Uriah are fighting over which ice cream is better. What is it with those two? Always fighting. Must be a sibling thing. "Chocolate." Zeke yells. "No, vanilla." Uriah responds. I just tune them out and enjoy my Dauntless cake. "Be in bed by 9:30." I tell the initiates after dinner. They will be glad I'm making them go to bed earlyish. Tris and I go back to the apartment to go to bed. Tris and I change into pj's and go to bed.

Bing Bing Bing

(Tris' POV)

The alarm clock goes off. I'm not ready to get out of bed yet. Last night we made sure that Bradly and Zoey wouldn't be on our team. That would make this game awkward. Right now, it is 2:30 in the morning. "Tobias get up." I yell at him. I get up and get ready. We get dressed and go wake the initiates up. They have 5 minutes to get ready. They will only have 5 minutes to get to the train. When we get to the train, the other couples are already there. After 3 minutes, a couple initiates arrive. Finally, all of the initiates are here. I hear the train in the distance. I guess Bryan didn't get here in time. He won't get to come. We all get on the train. "We are going to play capture the flag, Dauntless style. You will each get a paintball gun. How the game works is that Four, Uriah, Marlene and I are going to captain one team while Zeke, Shauna, Christina, and Will are captaining the other. Now let's pick teams. Zeke, you go first." We decided that Tobias was going to pick the team. "Bradly, Thomas, Maddie, Susie and Zoey." Zeke says. I guess he decided who he wanted beforehand. "Jenna, Jessica, Madison, Newt, Riley, Brigette, Devine and Penny. The initiates go to their correct sides. We see the pier in the distance and get ready to jump. I land perfectly on my feet. Both of the teams head off in opposite directions. We go by the ferris wheel. "Ok the plan is, we have 6 people going to get the flag and 3 people defending. Six(I can't remember if the initiates call Tris six or not) and I are going to defend, we will need 1 more person to help us defend. Newt, you will help us." Tobias says, after everyone's hands shot up. Everyone got to they're places. Tobias, Newt and I were walking around until we heard gunshots in the distance and a lot of yelling. When I say a lot of yelling, I mean a LOT of yelling was going on. I guess we won. Newt ran to his other teammates in victory. I looked over at Tobias and he was down on one knee. My hand shot up to my face. "Tris, I know we've only known each other for a year now, but I love you so much. Will you do me the honor and become my wife?" Tobias says nervously. Tears were coming out of my eyes uncontrollably. "YES YES YES!!! Of course I'll marry you." I sobbed. He stood up and kissed me hard, full or passion after he slipped the ring on my finger. I looked down at the ring. It was a simple, yet beautiful ring. I'm so happy. I need to tell Christina. I see her running up to me screaming. I see a ring on her finger too. We both were proposed to in the same night!! We all go to the train tracks and wait for the train to come. As soon as I hear it, I get ready to jump on it. When we get back to Dauntless, we tell the initiates that they don't have any training tomorrow. I get back into the apartment and fall asleep dreaming of what the next day will bring.

Sorry I haven't updated in awhile. It's been a rough couple of weeks. I'll try my best to update more. I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter. I wonder what will happen on the next chapter.
