Song Selection - Now I'm Here by Queen

'A baby I was when you took my hand
The light of the night burned bright
The people all stared didn't understand
But you knew my name on sight

Ooh, whatever came of you and me

America's new bride to be
Don't worry babe, I'm safe and sound
Down in the dungeon just peaches and me'

"I just realized I don't have anything to offer as a drink..."  Brian admitted after locking his room door.  He watched Peaches look around his small plain hotel room.  The young man turned back to him and reached in the small tote bag he was carrying on his arm and pulled out a small bottle of liquor.  Smirking at Brian.

"I generally come prepared..."  Peaches advised him as Brian laughed at his resourcefulness.  Peaches gestured at the two glasses on top of the vanity by the sink.  "We can use those..."  he proposed as Brian walked over and grabbed the overturned glasses.  Holding them as Peaches tossed his small bag onto the bed and began pulling the cap off the bottle.

"What is it?"  Brian questioned as Peaches poured some of the liquid into each glass.

"It's called Southern Comfort...it's a type of whiskey...you may not have this back home..."  Peached answered.  Brian hadn't heard of it.

"I don't think we do..."  Brian surmised and looked at the amber colored drink.  Peaches held up his glass to Brian's.

"Bottoms up!"  Peaches toasted.  Brian smiled and raised his glass.

"Cheers..."  Brian offered and took a sip of the somewhat sweet but heavy liquor and found it acceptable.  He then felt a burn as it went down his throat.  Making him want to cough a little.

"You like it?"  Peaches ask him as he noted Brian's face go a little red.  Brian nodded and managed a tiny cough.

"It's good...just a bit rough going down..."  Brian confessed.  He smiled at the young man who laughed a little at his reaction.

"That's a good way to put it..."  Peaches remarked.  They both took another sip and Brian watched Peaches easily finish his glass.    "This is your first time in America...right?"  he asked Brian.

"It is..."  Brian confirmed as he watched Peaches take a seat on the edge of the bed and lean back on his hands. Still looking with curiosity at Brian.  It gave Brian a chance to really get a good look at the young man.  He was average height and slim in build.  The Queen t-shirt he had on was one they sold at the shows.  It was topped by a faded denim jacket. Brian noted his worn blue jeans fit him quite snugly on top and flared at the bottom.  Peaches wore a pair of American style sneakers and had his legs crossed at his ankles.

Brian admired his shoulder length hair.  It was clearly dyed blond and needed touching up.  The roots quite evident.  But the look suited him somehow.  Almost a surfer look in a way as Peaches had darker skin and deep brown eyes.  Brian found him cute and amiable.

"Do you like what you've seen so far?"  Peaches questioned.  For a moment Brian wasn't sure if he was asking about America or himself giving the young man a good looking over.  Brian laughed nervously.
