I get home from work wondering should I even go to Roberts family gathering. I shouldn't go because it would be weird this is his family that I'm going to be meeting. But it would be a good way for me to meet new people and find new friends in this new city. I should call my mom she would know what to do.
"Hey mom I see you in the kitchen what you about to make?" I said taking off my clothes and falling into the bed. "Nothing special just some Turkey wings rice and spinach. What's wrong what you have to ask me I know that face." She knew me so well it freaks me out some times. "Well my boss invited me to his family gathering for his son coming back home for work and I don't know if I should go."
"I mean I don't want to be rude and not go since he did invite me and he didn't have to do that and I also should take this as a opportunity to meet new people because I am in a new city and I do need friends so I need some guidance right now." I said hoping she would make me understand what I should do. "Well I do believe you should go because we don't want him to think your rude. Also don't go empty handed remember what I taught you. And go so you make a good impression to your boss, and it would be good to meet some people and make friends.

As we end the call I get in the shower and get ready. I figured that since this is my boss I don't need to go all out and show to much this is his family I'll save that for tomorrow when I go out with Jason and Stephanie.
