I got showered and dressed in some chill clothes and decide to watch some movies and order some food and chill in my new living room. I decided to watch Disney movies and order pasta. I also decided to call my friends Jay, Jaz, and ally.
"Hey my ugly ducklings!!!!" I shouted over face time. "Hey hoe how is living in Boston finally on your own, you want to go home yet cause this adult shit ain't it." Jay said shoving Hot Cheetos in is mouth. "Yeah how is living own your and being such a boss women?" Jaz said holding her baby boy. "Yeah you have your hair business and are a dental assistant you making bank can you give me $1,000." Alison said.
"Not y'all just hyping me up letting me know what I've achieved. But I haven't seen the city all day and I am dying to see it I start work in about two days so that's that but I think I'm going to have this thing called adulting down packed cause I'm not trying to be broke so if that means I have to grind everyday I will." I said eating my pasta and doing a little dance.
"I see you girl giving us motivational speeches and shit." Jay said "the thing is I want to know is what you eating that's making you dance like you caught the holly ghost." Jaz said feeding baby carter. Jaz always said she wasn't going to be a young mom cause she was focused on being a lawyer but when she found out about carter all three of us were right by her side and she still is not giving up on that dream.
"Well I'm eating on some pasta you should already know." "Riah made her famous pasta girl why did you make it when you left and I can't come over and make me a plate." Alison said as she was putting on some make up. "I see Ally and Michael about to go on a hot date. What dress you going to wear?"
I don't know I was thinking the burgundy one that I bought when we all went shopping that last time. And I feel like it would match the eye look I'm going for." Yeah that one is fancy fancy you think he going to pop the question?" Jay said out of nowhere making us all stop what we're doing.
"Girl omg what if he does? Now your going to stress me out." She said looking like she can't even finish her make up. "Girl don't stress yourself out about it." "Yes just go and have a good night with your man and tell us what happens later." Me and Jaz trying to convince her everything was going to be okay.
"Okay we'll I'm about to hit the sack so talk to y'all tomorrow love y'all bye baby Carter." I said "bye have sweet dreams." Allison said looking away from her mirror. I got up from the table putting my left overs in the fridge and then going to my room. I did my nights routine washing my face brushing my teeth and throwing on my bonnet. I just hope that this was a good thing for me to do move to a different city and focus on me.
The next few days
It was now a few days since I started working at my new dental office and I actually loved it. My colleagues were all nice but let's see how Long that will last and me my boss got along great . He was very good at what he did he's why I choose his office he has been working for more then two decades and you can tell that he actually cares about what he's doing.
I was getting ready for work putting on my scrubs and I was feeling real cute.

I arrived and I saw my colleagues Jason and Stephanie walking in as well. "Hey newbie how have you been feeling about your first week? You've been really keeping up with the pace it's like you've been working here for years." Jason said "well I can't let y'all see me sweat just yet I'll give y'all about a year." I said as we walked in. "I knew I was going to like you." Stephanie said as we walk to the back.
The end of the day
"See you guys tomorrow." I said to Jason and Stephanie. "Hey you should come with Jason and I to the bar this Saturday we can catch you up on what you missed before you got here." Stephanie said making it known that she had some tea to spill. "Sure it's sounds like fun just text me the details." I said about to get up to clean my station and then go home.
"Hey Mariah." My Boss bob but we call him doctor Robert or Doctor Evans walked in. "Hey doctor Evans how has your day been?" I said moving things around and cleaning. Good so far, So I have to tell you that Friday I will be out but, I believe that you will strive and do your best without me here you really picked up fast at how we doing things here. But even though I'm not going to be here Stephanie will assist you if you need help with anything." He said as we finished cleaning up for the night. "Well it's not that hard when you are really good at explaining plus I love what I do. May I ask why you won't be here Friday?" I said packing my bag.
"My oldest son is returning home from being gone for work. I love what he does I just hate that he's gone all the time. Me and his mom are trying to throw a get together for him when he gets here. Would you like to come I know you just moved here may be it will help you Socialize more and meet new people." He said getting his bag and we walk out to are cars.
"Well I wouldn't want to intrude on a family gathering." "No you wouldn't I would love for you to come I believe you and my son would hit it off plus he is single and not to bad to look at." He said making me chuckle. "Fine I'll consider it and if I choose to go what time should I arrive?" I said opening my car door. "You should arrive at 7:00pm since I know you get off at 5:00." "Okay we'll see you Mr. Evans have a good night." "You as well Ms. Anderson."
