Valuable Possessions

The day I was offered a scholarship to Ouran High School was an eye-opener. I knew that it was my only chance to get to where I wanted to be in life. I was aware that I couldn't get there from my small hometown in France. So now, I'm in a car driving through the city of Tokyo in the district of Bunkyō on my way to the small apartment that the school was gracious enough to pay for. Thank God that it was near the school. We pulled up to the rather plain building and I found my own way up to room 523. I walked in and realized how bland the place actually was. I will have to fix that. Immediately went to go see if my piano was here yet. It was and, thankfully, was undamaged from shipping it from France to Japan. My piano was my most valuable possession. It was priceless to me due to the fact that I had saved up for years for it. It was a pure white grand piano in mint condition. After I was sure that it was okay I headed to the bedroom to unpack. It took me three hours to organize my possessions. The last thing I did was hang up the horribly hideous dress that I was to wear on my first day of school tomorrow. Exhausted, I flopped onto my bed and fell asleep, leaving behind my worries about my first day in a huge school and succumbing to the dreams of a place that I'd much rather be.
