It was three days after the funeral and we were set to return home in two days. I know we didn't have a lot of time, so if we were going to go see Tamaki's mom, it would have to be today. I already filled my dad in on my evil little plan and he agreed to drive. I understood how the twins felt, planning sneaky tricks all the time, it's so much damn work. All Tamaki really knew was that we had to go to Paris for our flight back to Japan. What he didn't know is that while my dad would be stalling him, Mori and I would be going to get Anne-Sophie. Hopefully, I would never have to meet this little witch Eclair. So that morning we set out to Paris, and we arrived early in the afternoon. Dad convinced Tamaki to go walk around with him. He had, of course, asked why Mori and I wouldn't be going and we said we were going on a date. All five of us would be meeting up tonight at a restaurant, if the plan went without fail. Mori and I had brainstormed on how to do this the other night. We figured that with a hefty bribe and the mention of how our friend was an Ootori the police department would lend us an uniform, we were right. After I was dressed and ready, We set out to the Tonnerre mansion. Technically, this was illegal but we knew that because it was for Tamaki, Kyouya would come to our aid.

I walked up to the giant double doors of the mansion and knocked. A maid answered and got surprised by a supposed police officer. "Hello ma'am, Do you happen to employ a Ms. Grantaine here?" She nodded and asked for me to wait a moment. Pretty soon, Anne-Sophie showed up at the door. "Miss, you'll have to come with me." Anne-Sophie, being kind, went without a hitch. However, halfway to the car a high pitched voice stopped me in my tracks. I kept my head down so Tamaki's mom wouldn't give me away.

"Where exactly are you taking her and why?" I assumed this lady was Eclair. What a drag. Who names their kid Eclair anyways? A french baker? (no offense if this is your name :) )

"I have to take her in for questioning on something, nothing she did Miss." She nodded and waved us away with a gesture of her hand. Brat. I placed Anne-Sophie in the car like a cop would've. We probably could've done this more effectively. Oh well, this is more fun. Once seated in the car myself, Mori began to drive away.

"Excuse me, what exactly am I being questioned about?" She looked nervous.

"Nothing at all."

She cocked her head, confused. "Then why..." She cut herself off once I looked at her, then she just looked as if she had seen a ghost. "Zafeiri."

"Hey, Ms. Granataine! Long time no see." I tried not to give anything away, because honestly she probably deserved this as much as Tamaki.

"So here's what's going to happen, We're going to take you shopping for a dress, and then take you out to dinner. Okay?" She just looked even more confused now.

"But... why?"

"Because you deserve it." She looked as if she needed a good pampering also. She was still insanely gorgeous, and you could tell Tamaki got his good looks from her. Now though, her face and skin were aged by hard work.

Takashi played chauffeur for the day. He was very patient, especially for two women going shopping. Given, he was probably just relieved that this had been done without any major troubles. I texted my father about an hour from when we should've met. 1 hour, La Meurice. Under Kyouya Ootori. I wasn't just using Kyouya's name because it was most obvious. The Shadow King himself helped me plan this, desperate to help his best friend. I couldn't have pulled it off without him either. He could be a pain, but I was thankful for the jerk.

An hour dissipated very quickly, soon enough we were about to surprise Tamaki and Anne-Sophie. I checked my pockets, good, I had my camera. I promised Kyouya a picture of Tamaki's face when he saw his mother. We were being guided by a hostess to our table where the other half of our group, which we had been promptly informed, was waiting. They were in sight, but due to his mother being behind Mori, Tamaki couldn't see her yet. However, she could see him. Her eyes watered and she caught my hand to give it a squeeze. I reached the table before the other two.

"Did you?" My dad asked. I nodded frantically. Tamaki looked confused as ever.

"Did you... wha..." He finally caught sight of his mother and his jaw went slack at the same time his eyes watered. He immediately stood up to embrace his mother, which is what I took the picture of, no matter how priceless his face might've been. It felt like looking in on a private moment. They didn't break away for several moments. When they did, Tamaki looked at me as if I was an endangered species. " How the hell ?"

"Let's just face it, you have the most amazing friend ever." He nodded. We chatted over dinner and halfway through, Takashi put his hand on my leg and whispered, "You're incredible." I smiled at him, and kissed him on the cheek, knowing there was no way I could ever stop loving this man. I knew he would always have my back, and support me through my future crazy antics. I knew with every fiber of my being that I loved him.
