"I'll be back." I let go of Ally's dry hand and stride towards Maggie. Her back was turned to me so this would be a surprise.
I tapped on her shoulder making her turn to me. Her eyes widened and her smile slowly faded as her eyes came in contact with mine.
"Hi Maggie." I slightly smile.
"Hi Sam." she fake smiled tightening her grip on Jacks arm. JACK?! When did this happen?!
"I'm gonna go find Jack. I'll see you guys later." Jack pecked Maggie's cheek making me clench my fists. Don't touch my babygirl. Maggie smiled to herself as Jack walked to the other side of the room.
"You look gorgeous by the way." she blushes and mumbles a thanks under her breath.
"So, how are you doing?" I ask trying to release the tension between us.
"I'm doing okay. I have a friend toddling around the house now." she smiles. I'll beat her friends ass.
"What's his name?" I grit. She giggles softly which seems to ease the tension in my face.
"Her name is Lindy." she states making me feel 100 times better.
"Who does she belong too?" I ask.
"Me...I mean...us."
