KESANI LOOKED DOWN at the shoes on his feet as he walked through the halls.
They weren't his usual air forces. They were some type of Yeezys, he had just forgotten the name. Like "500s" maybe?
Giavonni bought them for him that weekend despite him never asking for them - he would never ask anyone for something so expensive.
They were 'just because gifts' according to her but he knew it probably had something to do with that talk.
He actually had no idea when she had time to buy them since he never even told her his shoe size but Giavonni told him she just checked his shoe when he wasn't looking.
When he told her he didn't need them she kept saying things like "What am I good for without gifts and sex?"
That still lingered on his mind from time to time. He hoped she didn't actually think those were the only reasons he talked to her.
They were nice though. And they made him actually feel like something today so he greatly appreciated it... charity gift or not.
Unfortunately Giavonni had stayed home from school today so she didn't get to see him in them. Not that she would've spoke to him and told him he looked nice if she did, but still.
He'd probably see her after school anyway.
"Aw lookit SaniBoy, gang." He heard someone announce from in front of him.
Kesani kept his eye on the floor ignoring the voice until a second pair of shoes slid in front his blocking his path, some Black Cats. It was of course Alexis.
"Them bitches nice. What you do to ya sugar mama for em?"
Kesani looked up with his eyebrows pushed together in confusion. "My who?"
"Shuh-gah Ma-Ma." Alexis repeated, purposely going slow and enunciating every syllable as if Kesani was dumb.
"Fuck out my face." Kesani brushed him off attempting to step aside but Mazi came around that side blocking him as well.
"Oh my bad. Ain't see you there, bra." Mazi apologized sarcastically.
"The fuck out my face too." Kesani huffed in agitation.
