Anna

On my way to this new school I am so scared to how I am going to fit in because I am the type of different girl you would never imagine to attend the school of witchcraft because let's just say I am way too far out there in the oblivion.

Flashback

I was running as fast I as my scrawny legs could take me because the only thought on my mind was to get as far away as possible from my worst nightmare imaginable. I know you guys are like nightmares are fake, but in my case this nightmare is very, very real. I had to keep going there is no turning back now...

About seven hours later of running I stopped from exhaustion and dehydration, but at the same time I came across this in woodland hut. Since I was just so tired I started to see black spots and before I knew it I was collapsed on the forest floor letting this all to well known darkness take over. The darkness that I am so used to finding comfort in finally took a toll on me letting my last thought fill my brain, I am finally free!

End of Flashback

Currently I am on the Hogwarts Express awaiting to see the magical place itself, when from behind me I hear some girls chattering and laughing behind me I turn around to find a tall blonde. She looks like one of those people who is popular and stuck up. My theory comes true when she sends me a glare and snickers in my face. After that show of facial expressions she says the rudest thing that could come to her mind.

"What happened to you? You look like trash. Did this train pick you up from off the streets, hobo?"

Eh, it didn't really faze me because I've heard worse before. Caught a little off guard and still in my own head, I hear another girl's voice behind me but this time it sounds like it is laced with venom. Oh boy.

"Back off Lucy, it isn't any of your concern. At least she hasn't had everything in her life handed to her. You know what you are- a little stubborn annoying BRAT!"

Wait did I just hear her right? Did she just defend me against that Wicked Witch of the West? I turn around to get a better glance of this girl standing up for me, only to be grabbed by the arm and yanked away from the scene with the chick who saved me telling me to get out of there and that they are a waste of my time.

"Wait, what's your name?" I asked curiously because she is still a complete stranger to me.

"Ember, what about you? Do you have a name because I haven't seen you around and I know literally everyone," she replied a little cockily.

"Anna."

"Okay, Anna. Would you like to sit by my friends and I on this train ride? I hear it's going to be a while before we get to Hogwarts."

"Sure!"
