"The Greater The Doubt, The Greater The Awakening" ~Albert Einstein
All Might looked at the young lad with widened eyes, staring at him as his jaw hung open at the sheer amount of power that was radiating off Izuku, the small wind blowing his hair back as Izuku shot his head up, glaring at the hero with a rage that could only be described as terrifying. His green eyes glowed a vibrant green as his teeth remained grit together. Inside Izuku's head, all sorts of emotions and thoughts were racing like crazy, a fire burning deep within his soul as he screamed at him.
"I can't be a hero?! I'd be a hero that would be there 24 hours a day! You can't even do 3! I don't know where the hell you get off telling ME I can't be a hero! Look at you!" Izuku screamed at him with widened eyes, his entire body shaking with rage. "You're basically skin and bones! If I wanted to, I could probably kick the hell out of you right now!".
"Y-Young man, Calm-"
"Calm? CALM?!" Izuku yelled as his anger grew. "You're always saying how anyone can be a hero with enough hard work! You ALWAYS say that! Anyone can be a hero! Why can't I? What, just because I don't have some superpower because I was unlucky?! Well, screw you AND screw Quirks! I'll use my own power to become a hero, one better than you could ever hope to be!".
With that outburst finally complete, Izuku couldn't stand to look at the hero any longer and turned around on his heel, growling as he stomped away towards the metal-locked door that held them captive on the roof. All Might raised his hand to warn him that maybe he shouldn't grab that door as it wouldn't open. Izuku didn't bother giving him the chance, grabbing a tight hold of the metal door handle before yanking back, ripping the door off the metal hinges and sending it flying towards All Might. With a quick shift to the side, he narrowly avoided the door smashing into his arm as it mangled itself in the railing and stopped there. All Might sat there, frozen at the raw strength he had just seen.
"Was he lying about being quirkless?" All Might muttered under his breath.
Izuku stomped down the stairs, hands still balled into right fists as tears streamed down his cheeks like waterfalls, stepping out of the building and into the alleyway to the side. Slowly, he pressed his back against the cold wall and slid down slowly against the prickly brick wall, ignoring the sharp edges digging against his back. He just sat there, tears flooding down his cheeks as he held his knees to his chest, hiccuping and softly sobbing every so often.
He wasn't sure how long he was sitting there against that wall but he knew he couldn't sit there forever. He had to get home today or his mom would worry about him. Slowly, he pushed against the floor and stood up from the ground, quickly brushing the dust and dirt off himself before he started dragging his feet across the floor. A loud sound of a crowd yelling drew his attention but he didn't care, he just wanted to get home. His body, however, didn't listen to what he was wanting and dragged him over to the scene, pushing his way through the crowd.
"Why am I here..." He thought to himself as he pushed towards the front. "Did my body instinctively come here? How crap...".
His thoughts were scattered and slow, his body dragging forward as his eyes lacked any sort of light. He was defeated but that didn't last long. The sudden sound of a loud explosion blasted throughout the alleyway, hot fire making the air around harder to breathe but Izuku barely noticed it. All he noticed was the scene in front of him that made him sick to his stomach.
"K-Kacchan..." Izuku whispered staring at the angry blonde in front of him.
Just as what had happened to him, Izuku was watching this villain try to forcefully push himself down Bakugous throat, to take control of his body but unlike Izuku, he wasn't making it easy. Any chance he got, he set off massive explosions outwards, skyrocketing his body around a little bit and allowing himself to take deep, life-saving breaths that kept him going. If he was quirkless like Izuku, he wouldn't have been alive right now. Izuku could only stare at the scene, his hands tightening into fists as there wasn't a thing he could do. The same thought was going through a familiar skeleton at the back.
