We went back to the dorm to get ready while the guys stayed at dinner. I was really nervous because I didn't know what to expect from a college party or party itself. I have never been to one.
Doesn't matter, Nova.
Okay, okay, it doesn't matter. I'm going to enjoy it. But here is one rather big problem. I don't have any party wear. My wardrobe consists of sweatpants, hoodies, sweaters, and jeans. Not dresses or high heels.
"Girls, I have a confession to make. Maybe two." I said as we got into the dorm.
"What is it?" Zoey asked me when she looked my way and saw my face.
"I have never been to a party because high school was kind of hell for me, and I also don't have any outfit to go to the party." I was slightly ashamed and embarrassed, not gonna lie.
"Oh, it's no problem. You can pick something from mine. I have dresses, rompers, jeans, anything you want." Amelia smiled at me.
"Thank you so much, I was ready to wear jeans and a sweater, but I think for my first party, it is not the right outfit." I smiled nervously, but when I saw Amelia, everything faded.
I chose white dresses with spaghetti straps, and even when I said that I didn't have any high heels, I so didn't want to wear them. I slid into my converse, and I was good to go.
"Okay, let me do your makeup," Zoey said and positioned me on one of the chairs.
She did light and natural makeup, and I was surprised at how good I looked. I'm not unprofessional when it comes to makeup, but what she did was a masterpiece.
"Girl, you look hot as hell," Brooklyn told me when she opened the door to the bathroom.
"Thank you." I smiled widely at her. Zoey then did her makeup and Amelia's. Well, she didn't do one for Brooklyn because, as she said, she gave her lectures on how to do it herself.
Amelia then clicked some pictures of us; maybe some of them ended up on social media, but how would I know? I don't have any.
"Okay, does someone know where the party is?" I have no idea.
"No idea." Zoey looked up from her phone like she was reading my mind.
"Oh, I don't know either, but Sawyer texted me that he will pick us up and then probably drive us back, so he's the designated driver for tonight. He also doesn't like alcohol that much." Amelia said with a smile.
"Ooooh, so you exchanged numbers," I smirked.
"Yeah, guys, he's charming, nothing like the guys I dated." There was a blush on her face.
"I'm happy, 'cause you're happy." I pecked her cheek.
"Thank you, best friend." And then her phone goes off. That means Sawyer's here.
We went down and not by elevator because it was not working, and when we got out of the building, we saw Sawyer leaning against his car.
"Well, girls, should I say you all look gorgeous, or should I say you all look magnificent." He smiled at us.
"We know we look good, but you can tell more compliments to Amelia," I smirked at him, knowing I hit the jackpot.
Amelia was red like a tomato, so we all stopped talking and slid our asses to the backseat. The ride wasn't long, but I didn't know the neighborhood, so I just looked out of the window. Well, the houses around here were pretty, and I also liked the stars that could be seen in the night sky.
"Hey, we're here." Zoey touched my shoulder and got out of the car.
I stepped out, feeling a little nervous, and hearing the music from the outside was not helping this time, even though I liked dancing. Amelia took my hand into hers and smiled at me; then, she was practically dragging me to the front doors. Sawyer opened them for us, and I was hit with the smell of alcohol, sweat, and weed. Not the typical combo.
