I groan in annoyance at the sound of someone knocking on my door. Opening it, my mouth drops open at the sight of mom and dad standing there. "Mom, dad? What are you doing here?" I ask, hugging dad. "We heard about the malivore business you've seemed to constantly forget to tell us during our weekly phone calls so we decided to pay a visit and make sure you're safe," mom tells me with a knowing look.
"I don't tell you guys because I knew you'd get all protective and might unenroll me from the school," I tell them. "You still should have told us," dad sighs, walking into the room. "Does Dr. Saltzman know you're here?" I ask them. "No, but Caroline does," dad smirks. "In fact. She even assigned us a tour guide. Someone named Margaret Collymore," he tells me.
"You lucked out. Margaret's known to be pretty chill. People usually get tours from Lizzie and Josie and they use this creepy twin tactic," I chuckle. "Caroline told Margaret that we'd be here so she'll come here to find us in a few moments," dad says, taking a bite of the bowl of popcorn on my nightstand. Landon and I were watching a movie last night and forgot to throw it out.
"I once knew a woman named Sophia Collymore. Is there any chance the two of them are related?" Dad ask.
The sound of knocking on the door interrupts us. "It's open," I shout. The door opens and I see Margaret standing there. "I'm Margaret. I'm here to give you a tour of the school," she smiles. "See you later love," dad smiles, kissing my forehead. Giving me a small hug, mom walks out as well.

Hayley and I follow Margaret out of Hope's room. "Let's start with the class rooms," she tells us. With a flick of her wrist, two papers form out of thin air. Handing them to us, she speaks. "These are a little of every place in this building. Look over it and choose what you're most interested in," she tells us and starts walking.
She walks us through the different classes and introduces us to different teachers. "What's the memory archives?" Hayley ask. ,"Those are in the basement. They store the memories of every student and teacher in the building. Dr. Saltzman thought it would be smart to have them since so many supernatural disasters happen and certain magic can mess with ones mind. Lucky for you, Ms. Forbes gave me the key just in case you wanted to go," she tells us.
"That's sounds pretty interesting. Sure," I smirk. She takes I down to the basement where we see a large wooden door. She reached into her pocket and pulls out this large key. On her finger is a ring that's way too familiar for comfort. It's the same ring I gifted Sophia when we were together nearly a decade ago. I guess she had another relationship and a child after we parted ways.
"That's a beautiful ring. Where did you get it?" I ask. "My mother gave it to me as a birthday gift," she shrugs. I'm about to ask more when Hayley hits my shoulder, reminding me of what Hope said about asking about her mother. She opens the door and we enter a room of endless mirrors of different shapes and sizes covering the blood, ceiling and the walls. "How long is this tunnel?" Hayley ask. "Who knows. Every person added to the school's list of teachers and students, the tunnel grows. Even the dead's memories are here," she says. "Creepy and cool," Hayley says, causing Margaret to chuckle softly.
The sound of rushed footsteps causes us to both spin around.
