He crouched down with Kaccan, "Ok, Ka- Bakugo. We need to work together. So,-" as he tried to explain, keyword, 'tried'. Kaccan just ran off! "STAY BACK AND LET ME DO IT!" He internally sighed, always rushing in head-first. He shook his head.
Looks like he's gonna have to come up with a plan by himself. This is a teamwork practice so whatever he does he has to make sure it looks like it was both of their idea's. Or.. They'll fail.
He looked around, All Might was strong.. But not fast. His legs? His ribs?
Bingo! That was it, go for somewhere along the stomach. And with Kaccan distracting All Might.. All right, he has a plan.
He sneaked around, quietly. When he got close enough, he announced his presence. He was surprised Kaccan hadn't already got here, guess the explosive blonde couldn't see what was literally in front of his eyes. If he would have just looked- He's getting off track, he needs to focus. "Hay All Might!" He yelled, a reasonably far distance. All Might looked towards him. Good. He has his attention. He looked over his shoulder, Kaccan should be coming in his direct in about.. Right about now.
"Oi! Get ready to be blasted into tomorrow!!" Bakugo screamed loudly. Gosh, he wished Kaccan wasn't so loud, it was just unnecessary. He sidestepped, Bakugo charging from behind.
Sneakily, Izuku went to the back. He prepared his fist, gosh this is gonna hurt. He punched as hard as he could, All Might making a sputtering noise, just enough to unfocus him. Kaccan punched him again, and sent him flying into the wall behind them. As soon as that was done, Kaccan began flexing his muscles, bragging about how strong he was. Kaccan was always bragging.
He wished he could just wipe that utterly stupid smile off his face-
"Good job you two! You both clearly demonstrated teamwork. You seem to work well, but in hero work it is important to know that you won't get along with everyone." All Might announced, patting both of them on the back. Right..
From down there, he could see everyone clapping from above in the viewing window. Ochako giving him a thumbs up. He smiled, that's nice of her. He has to stay calm. He isn't Kaccan.
The rest of the lesson was going by quickly. Pairs of two against All Might. When it was Ochako's turn, he made sure to cheer her on, even if she didn't win. Everyone made a good effort overall! Although he wasn't siked to be partnered with Kaccan, it was better than if anyone else would have gotten him, Kaccan might have literally blown someone's head off. That thought was scary.
"Hay, good job Uzuki! What you did was really smart, Bakugo doesn't seem like an easy person to work with." Uraraka commented. "Aha, ya. You also did really well!" He replied, high-fiveing her. "Thank you! Also, if you don't mind me asking.. What's your quirk? It doesn't seem like it's a visual quirk." She asked nervously.
He was afraid this question would come up. Ok, he's got this. He has practised with Toga this exact conversation.
He took a deep breath. "It's slightly advanced abilities. Better speed, intelligence, muscle, etc." She made a, 'o' sound. "Muscle isn't a ability!" She giggled. "Strongness?" He asked, "-but then it just sounds weird." He finished, laughing with her.
This specific scene would have made a specific blonde right about lose her mind. It sounded like they where flirting..
"Alright, I just wanted to confirm." She hummed happily. They where both making their way out of the school, when she stopped. "I'll see you tomorrow!" She said. "See you tomorrow." He responded back sweetly. Just as he walked away, she kissed him on the cheek, "Bye Zuki!" And Uraraka ran away.
I- He has no idea how to respond to that. The only thing he could do was blush. Friends do that all the time, right? Besides, Ochako is the type of girl to do that. He has Toga.
"Hia, Izu!~" It was the familiar voice he came to love. "Hia, Himi!~" He replied back in the same manor. What he failed to notice was the slight twitch in her eye, and the way she stared down the path Uraraka had went.
