Two Different Words - Todoroki x Reader

The world we live in was not a safe one. Never knowing what's to be expected around the corner, everyone was weary of what would happen in the near future. Though, despite this, the majority of people were able to stay happy. How, because of one man. One man who managed to keep the peace in all of the world. One man who managed to keep a smile on his face no matter the situation. One man who, supposedly, took down the greatest threat to ever walk this earth.

That man was given the name 'All Might' by the public. Starting off as a simple paladin, coming from a small village in the country, the young man managed to rise to fame. How, you may ask. Well, the answer is simple, but the process was a difficult one. For that, we must begin our story with another, one from long ago.

A few hundreds years back, before All Might was born, a dark wizard decided that the world needed a change. Though, his thought of a change wasn't a welcoming one. His idea of 'change' was to capture, torture, even kill anyone who stood in his way.

The Dark Wizard's name soon became a household one; one that sent shivers down people's spines. The man had many enemies and even more who feared him, but he also had many followers. The wizard managed to convince other people to join his twisted cause.

His true name was never found out. Instead, everyone knew the nickname he gave himself: 'All For One'. This name was created to spread fear when muttered. And that it succeeded to do. 'All For One' was a name given by kings of many different kingdoms to the tyrant.

All For One continued to take down kingdoms and capture different lands for hundreds of years. Now, in our land, people are not immortal, and even the best sorcerers couldn't inflict such magic. But the Dark Wizard found a way to slow down his aging. Despite this sort of magic being outlawed since the day it was discovered, the Wizard refused to listen to the world spread law.

All seamed perfect for the tyrant. He had succeeded to accomplish his life long goal. All his was missing was one final kingdom. However, word got out to the public that he was going to take over final standing kingdom. At this point, All Might had been training for many years to take down this great evil; Yet, All For One was clueless of this fact. The emperors hubristic attitude became his hamartia.

In one final, gruesome battle, All For One had been finally defeated. The final kingdom stood, and more were soon created as the recently captured land regained its freedom. All Might quickly became a world wide hero. Everyone looked up to him and wanted to become just as strong as him.

That day, the final kingdom declared All Might as a national hero, along with their heir to the throne. The kingdom, Kaen, had underwent (what the history books like to call) the greatest day they could ever wish for.

Kaen, the kingdom known for its fierce flames, was the only kingdom left standing. While All For One went on his rampage, their king did his best to hold back the raging tyrant. Kaen was always known for its strength, their army being the best in the world, their leaders being both physically strong and strong minded. This acted as a deterrent for the tyrant, making him avoid the kingdom until he was certain he could win.

The king of Kaen was known for being extremely physically strong. He was the strongest ruler that the land had ever seen, yet he wasn't the nicest to his people. Enji Todoroki. Being born into royalty, he always looked down on others. This wasn't because he was snobby, per say, but because he wanted to be better then them. He wanted to be the best.

Once finally crowned king, he made it his mission to take down the tyrant. He trained his army harder than any ruler before him. And, once his son was born, he trained him just as hard. In the end, the king had four kids. Despite the line of succession meant that the crown would go to the oldest, the king wanted it to go to the strongest.

After All Might defeated the Dark Wizard, the king was devastated that a random paladin from a small village accomplished what he did not. Despite this, after some convincing from his wife and daughter, he named All Might a national hero. That same day, the king also decided that his youngest son, Shoto Todoroki, would be the heir to his throne.

The kingdom of Kaen was the only kingdom not to fall. This let the kingdom get the reputation of the kingdom of true safety.
