Ivy frowned as she saw who was knocking on her door this early in the morning and of course it was her mom, she looked different the last time she saw her but not in a good way at all.

But she couldn't say that about her own mother.

Ivy took a deep breath before opening her door and plastered on a smile "Hi mom."

"Is she here?"

"Petal?"

"For christ sake, yes Petal!"

Ivy mentally groaned "Yes she's here, she's sleeping in my room at the moment."

"Well she's coming home so go wake her."

"Have you been drinking mom?" Ivy asked as she closed the door

Her mom didn't answer but looked her dead in the eyes frowning at her own daughter.

To say the least she was disappointed on how Ivy turned out.

"She's sleeping and I don't want to wake her this early in the morning." Ivy slowly said to her mom who made herself comfortable on the couch

Where Ivy was sleeping.

She watched as her mother looked around her apartment.

"Who haven't changed at all, your room looked like a shit hole when you lived with me. And now your home looks even worse."

Ivy didn't know what was wrong with her home there were plants, books, movies laying around on there shelves. There wasn't anything that was out of place.

She would say that her apartment looked clean and tidy, just how she wants it.

"Mom I don't live with you anymore, so you can't tell me how to decorate my house."

She heard her mother get up from the couch to walk towards her, but yet nothing happened but hearing the door open and slam shut.

Ivy let out a breath that she didn't even know she was holding, she locked the door and turned off whatever lights she had on before sitting back on the couch.

With her head resting on her hands.
