"Stop Colby." Ivy said grabbing the things he had in his hands setting it on a different shelf
"What?" He asked
"You don't have to buy me anything, anything you buy Petal I'll pay you back." She said looking up at him
Colby shook his head "No, why would you want to pay me back?"
"Because-" She let out sigh "Because you already did too much for us."
Colby smiled "It's all for you pretty girl."
Colby grabbed the items once again before walking over to the register paying for everything.
"Do you want to go to that bookstore?" She heard Petal ask
Ivy looked down at her before wrapping a arm around her "No I don't think so."
"Why not? You love going there."
"Yeah when I had my own money."
Petal rolled her eyes but quickly smiled when Colby came back with a bag in his hands.
"There's a-"
"Home Colby." Ivy cut Petal off "At least I want to."
Petal and Colby shared a glance before Colby nodded "Sure Ivy."
"Thank you." She whispered

Ivy laid on the couch it was dark in her apartment and the TV played quietly as background noise, sadly for once she wasn't reading she was just tired.
After Colby dropped her off she let Petal go off with Colby to wherever else they wanted to go. And they weren't back yet but she knew that Petal was safe with Colby.
She sighed once again, it seems like she's been doing that a lot recently but that seems like that's all she can do anymore.
Just sit there and sigh.
The knock on the door made her quickly sit up, unlocking the door and opening it she saw Colby and Petal who was being carried by Colby.
"I'm sorry it's late." He said walking inside "She fell asleep in the car."
"It's alright and thank you." Ivy said
Colby laid her on the couch before setting whatever bags were left in his car on the kitchen counter.
"What did you guys all do?" She asked sitting down
"We got ice cream then she wanted to see a movie, I tried to call you but you never answered."
"Oh, it was charging."
Colby slightly smiled "I better get going."
Ivy nodded before getting up and hugging Colby "Thank you."
"Anytime pretty girl." He said kissing the top of her head before leaving
