Ivy and Colby sat around in the living room watching a movie together, they did that every Friday and when their two other roommates went out on dates.
This was one of the days.
"Hey pretty girl?" Colby whispered
Ivy hummed, she was too focused on the movie to hear what Colby had to say.
"Ivy?" He asked again turning to look at her
"Huh?"
"I asked you something." He frowned
"I'm sorry Colbs, what was it?"
"I said do you see us starting a family together?"
Ivy almost choked on her popcorn, she never thought about that. But she wasn't saying that she didn't want to start a family, she did, especially with Colby.
But she thought that they were still young and had other things to think about. She was still worried about her sister.
But yet she smiled and nodded at the boy next to her "Yeah, I do."
Colby felt his stomach do flips seeing Ivy agreeing with him.
He had it planned out already for the two of them, but it would be a surprise for Ivy.
They fell back into silence one focusing on the movie that was playing while the other had their head up in the clouds.
"Let me take you on a date." Colby said
Ivy smiled before turning to him "Really?"
He nodded his head "Anywhere you want, pretty girl."
"A picnic?" She asked
"I'll be planning it out then." He said pulling her closer to his chest
Ivy kissed his cheek before smiling at him again "Thank you."
