For my horny best friend, Max. (Apparently she's allowed to be horny, since she's eighteen, but since I'm fourteen, I'm not allowed to be.)
"It's too late for this," Michael grumbles, but Luke doesn't pay attention to him. He just continues to drag him towards the playground. "It's midnight," Michael tries again.
"It's the perfect time for us to be here!" Luke says, giggling.
"How so?"
"There's no one here to watch us."
"Wait." Michael stops, making Luke stop, too, since he'd been dragging the shorter boy by his wrist. "No one here to watch us do what?"
Luke rolls his eyes. "Swing! Duh."
Michael squints at him for a few seconds. "What?"
"I love swings, but I'm a freakishly tall teenager and parents think I'm a weirdo when I try to swing when their kids are around. So, I decided to come here when no one else would be here."
"And why did you drag me along?"
"I didn't want to be lonely." Luke pouts when Michael just gives him a strange look. "I bought you food, stop being so grumpy." He then smiles and let's go of his friend. "Come on!"
He runs to the swings, and as soon as he's sitting on one, he does a little running start backwards, then pushes himself forward.
After a few powerful pushes from his long legs, he's going up pretty high, and Michael watches fondly as the younger boy swings back and forth, the wind pushing his hair back and the moon illuminating his soft, yet somehow sharp features.
His cheekbones are prominent, but Michael knows his cheeks are soft, and his lips curve up in a way that looks amazing. His lip ring glints in the moonlight, and his slight smile suddenly turns into a full one, teeth and all.
He leans backwards, but grips the chains in his large hands so he won't fall (Michael has always been envious of how large Luke's palms are, and how long his fingers are) and closes his eyes. His eyelashes glow in the soft light, and Michael feels almost honored that he's the only one who gets to see Luke like this, so exposed and pretty, though he doesn't try or even realize it.
"Luke," Michael says, an idea coming to him. "Catch me if you can!"
He then takes off towards the play set, and he can hear a soft thud, meaning Luke must've jumped off the swing.
Since it's so dark out, it's easy for Michael to hide from Luke, and he hides in the tunnel swing, curling into a ball and peering around for his friend.
After a few seconds of Michael holding his breath, he hesitantly scoots down the slide, but as soon as he exits back into the night, he's suddenly grabbed, and Luke says, "Gotta catch 'em all!" He then let's Michael go. "Michael, I choose you!"
"You're such a nerd," Michael says, shaking his head.
"Says the boy who locks himself in his room for days playing video games. Pokemon is awesome. Anyway, tag, you're it!" He tags Michael, then takes off running.
Michael stands there for a second, then runs after his friend, chasing him up the stairs into the play set, and then down the normal slide.
He almost catches Luke, but the boy is too fast, and he starts on the monkey bars, climbing across them quickly, and the older boy just kind of stares at him in awe, because the moon seems to have a spotlight on Luke.
The tank top Luke is wearing shows off his nice arms, which, until now, Michael thought weren't muscular at all, but as he watches how quickly Luke swings from bar to bar, and how the moonlight and his tank top show off his muscles, he can see that they are muscular, and they're quite nice.
