Reagan's POV

It's been 2 weeks since my parents died and I have officially gone into depression. I haven't eaten the past few days and before that Nash, Raegan and Cam basically had to force me to eat. Life has been hard, I started cutting last week. Raegan, Nash, and Cam don't know, and I'd like to keep it that way. Today Nash, Cam and Raegan decided they wanted to force me to go to the Zoo with them.

"Come on Rae, let's start getting ready," She said while getting out of her bed.

"Fine." I stated bluntly. I don't really mind going out that much, I've never liked being stuck inside a house. Here lately I haven't really had the energy or the motivation though, so that's where the forcing part comes in. I got in the shower while Niki started straightening her hair and putting on make up. After I got out of the shower I blow dried my hair and curled it. After I finished it I put on some neutral makeup and put on running shorts and a t-shirt. I paired it with some white Nike elites and my black Nikes. After I was ready, we all hopped in the car to drive to the Zoo. As soon as we pulled out of the drive way, my headphones were in and "Mad World" by Jasmine Thompson was playing. A few hours later we arrived at the Zoo and got out of the car. We walked up to the booth thing and got got our tickets. After about 30 minutes of walking through the Zoo, Nash suggested we see the dolphin show. We walked down there and got lucky since since the next show was just about to start. We walked in and since we're on of the first people to show up we got to sit near the front in the splash zone. The show started about 5 minutes after and it was amazing. About 10 minutes into it the worker asked for a volunteer and basically every hand in the stadium went up, except mine. Of course, they had to pick me out of all people. They had me get in a wetsuit and go out on the ledge with them so I could feed the dolphins. They handed me a raw fish and told me to throw it in the air. The dolphin who had swam down to the bottom of the pool jumped out of the water and snagged the fish in mid air. After we were finished feeding them I headed back to my seat. While I was walking, I took a look at the crowd and saw so many people from so may different backgrounds. There were people in wheel chairs, people with breathing machines, people with prosthetic legs and I realized that I shouldn't be sad. My parents wouldn't want me to be. There are so many people out there dieing, who wish they could go out with their friends or family and live the life they want to, but can't because they have a medical condition, and in that moment I decided I didn't want to be sad anymore and that it wasn't fair to those who can't do the things I can. My parents would want me to be happy and celebrate their lives. After the dolphin show we walked around the Zoo for about 3 more hours and around 5 we left and went to get food. We drove to the nearest taco bell and ate. Once we all sat down and started eating, Nash, Cameron, and Raegan were all staring at me.

"What?" I asked.

"Well you're eating and we're not forcing you!"

"Yeah, I think I've decided that I don't wanna be sad anymore. I'm gonna try being happy." I said bluntly.
