Grass tickled Wednesday's face, causing her to open her eyes. She turned her head toward the sky, smiling at its familiar blue color. She glanced at her outfit.

Oh, the photoshoot! She and her friends must have laid down in one of the grassy fields of the Gardens afterward. She sat up, searching for Mina.

"Mina!" she said, expecting her cousin to come running at the sound of her voice.

Nothing happened.

"That's odd," Wednesday muttered. She stood and started walking through the Gardens.

After a few minutes, she realized that she wasn't in the Gardens. She was face-to-face with a statue in front of a large temple.

The statue was of a creature in the Star Wars universe: Maz Kanata. Come to think of it, Wednesday had seen that statue and this temple before.

Her eyes widened. Her hand flew to her pocket, pulling out a yellow Kyber crystal. She gasped.

She, along with her friends, had really traveled to the Star Wars universe!

Wednesday raced into Maz Kanata's bar, looking at the creatures around her in awe. Then, her heart sank.

None of her friends were there. She was all alone. Where was Mina?

A flash of light illuminated a section of Maz's bar. Hope spread through Wednesday's chest. She ran toward the spot, breathing a sigh of relief.

Her cousin, Mina, was right there.

Mina's eyes opened to a familiar face. "Wednesday!" she gasped.

"Mina!" Wednesday exclaimed, embracing her cousin.

"What's going on here?" a voice asked.

"Oh, by the way, we kinda traveled to the Star Wars universe through those Kyber crystals. We're in-" Wednesday started to say before the owner of the bar stepped toward them.

"Maz Kanata's bar," Mina breathed, finishing Wednesday's sentence.

Maz Kanata blinked, her eyes widened through her goggles. "Huh. You're a pair of lost cousins, reunited through crystals. You came with a larger group, and you'll see them soon."

Mina pulled her indigo Kyber crystal out of her pocket, smiling at her cousin.

Wednesday copied her action, pulling out her yellow Kyber crystal.

"Exactly. Reunited by crystals. You know, I'm a bit short-staffed right now. You two can work here until your friends arrive, if you'd like," the short orange alien said with a smile.

"We'd love that!" the cousins said.

"Let me show you how things work around here, Wednesday and Mina," Maz said. The cousins stood, ready to start their lives in the Star Wars universe.

Ethan jolted awake. His heart pounded in his chest as he frantically looked around. Where were his friends? Where was he?

He smoothed his hands over his clothes, taking a few deep breaths. His hand ran over his pocket... Wait, what was in there? He raised an eyebrow before pulling out the object.

The green Kyber crystal glinted in the sunlight.

"Did we really travel to the Star Wars universe?" he breathed.

That was when he saw the group of people racing toward him.

Ethan stuffed the crystal back into his pocket, his eyes wide behind his round glasses. "No way. Lieutenant Connix?"

The girl who led the group raised an eyebrow. "How do you know my name?" she asked, standing in front of him.

Ethan stood. "I just do."

"What's your name?"

"Ethan Lyon."

"Alright. Come with us," Connix said, nodding to her group. Ethan followed the group of Rebels into the D'Qar Resistance Base.

"So he just... appeared?"

Ethan's jaw dropped.

General Leia Organa turned toward the newcomer. "How do I know that you're not a spy for the First Order?" she asked.

Ethan cleared his throat. "Listen, I'm not from this place. I'm loyal to the Resistance, and I would be glad to help you."

Leia smiled softly. "That's what I thought. I can sense the Force from you, Ethan."

She held her hand out to him.

"Welcome to the Resistance."

"It was the weirdest thing!"

Kayla paced the floor of her apartment's living room, looking at Cameron and Jordan Paul every few seconds.

"One moment, I remember them. The next, they're gone from my mind. And then, I have these weird dreams of them in the Star Wars universe! When I woke up, I remembered them again."

"Your pacing is making me dizzy, Kayla," Jordan Paul sighed.

"Sorry," Kayla said, sitting down on a couch and wringing her hands.

"So, they traveled to the Star Wars universe through Kyber crystals. Everyone lost their memories, but the memories can be returned through witnessing them in dreams," Cameron said.

"Or, in our case, watching them disappear from Rexburg," Jordan added.

"Right. Since we can remember them, and we know methods to return memories, we should work together. We need to find out where each person was before they left. Where their apartment is, who their friends and roommates are, what classes they took, et cetera. With that information, we can help their roommates, classmates, and fellow ward members remember them."

"You've really thought this out, huh?" Kayla asked.

"I haven't been able to focus on anything else! Sure, Jordan and I haven't seen the Seeleys in years, but we still remember them," Cameron said.

"Oh, there was something else that happened in the dream! Right before I woke up, actually."

Jordan Paul and Cameron leaned forward.

"I heard someone cackling. Then, two magenta lightsabers were lit up in front of a cloaked figure. The person smirked and said, 'Your friends aren't safe, and neither are you.'"

"Ah. Not creepy or mysterious at all," Jordan said.

"Do you think this person could have taken your memories away?" Cameron asked.

"It seems like the most logical thing. We have to bring our friends back. This person could do something to them, and that scares me," Kayla said with a shiver.

"We'll find a way to bring them back," Jordan said.

The trio exchanged looks.

Was it possible? Could they bring their friends back?
