ASANELE'S POV

I kept zoning out as I was in my accounting class . My accounting teacher is one of those old women who know how to insult people and let me tell you ,her words are sharp as a knife.

We were done  with the syllabus  but Mrs Matsha started the grade's work afresh . I've asked her to give us past papers instead of starting afresh but her response was ," Just because you are royalty it doesn't mean whatever you say I will follow . When in my class you are nothing."

💔

Yamihle suggested that I don't listen to the bitter lady and download past papers for my classmates and I .  I did just that  and guess what, Mrs Matsha found out and went to the principal , cooked up some sick story . But the principal didn't mind her since it's not the first we were reported .

" Asanele tell us  the GAAP principle that must have applied in this statement."

I look up to the chalk board . It was a struggle for me to see because
1. I sit at the back of the class so that I can avoid Mrs Matsha.
2. I have eye problems but I wear spectacles .

After a while I could master what was written :

A rent is paid for 16 months but only 12 were recorded in the books of the current financial year.

That's easy ,even grade 10 accounting learners can answer this. It is apparent that it is the matching principle. I will just annoy her.

Me: It's the business entity rule ma'am.

Mrs Matsha: Andothukanga that awuyazi impendulo kaloku wena uzixakekise ngezinto ezingakufuniyo . Uyathanda ucinga that umhlaba ujikeleza kuwe . Not yonke into ingawe.

( I'm not surprised that you don't know the answer because you are busying yourself with thing that don't concern you. You like thinking that the world revolves around you . Not everything is about you .)

Yhoo this woman , I applaud her . She knows how to hurt someone with her bitter words.

Me: With all due respect ma'am...

I  deeply sigh. Whenever you hear a xhosa person say,' with all due respect', just know that nothing good will be said.

Me : Mrs Matsha , bendicela indlela othetha ngayo kum itshintshe ngoba awuzoyithanda indlela endizakuba ngayo. Bendicela uzicenge , khazihloniphe phambi kokuba ndikubonise amabele enyoka . Ndithetha kakuhle ngoku but repeat this behavior of yours , I won't be this nice.  Ungalinge undiqale.

( Mrs Matsha, please change the way you speak with me because you won't like how I will respond . Please beg yourself, respect yourself before I show you the impossible. I'm speaking nicely with you but repeat this behavior of yours,I won't be this nice. Don't you dare provoke me.)

I could see the anger mixed with fear in her eyes. She is just lucky that I'm not that angry or else I would have brought Yamihle to deal with her.

LUNCH TIME

I don't like eating during lunch time so I just went to my friends ,who were sitting at our usual spot.

I have three friends;Mikhanyile , Loyiso and Luzuko.
Mikhanyile is the quiet and smart one . He is into science. Loyiso is the one who loves to laugh at his own jokes. Luzuko is , well ...kinda different from us . He loves violence.
