Chapter 6

Later that night, the girls came over to my place for a change, they rarely came over for whatever reason. Maybe because I don't have any food in my house? Or anything to cook it with? They we're grown ups compared to me so we met at their homes more for that reason. Not to say I can cook or be grown up, I just stopped being 'wifey' material, as the guys say once he left. I lost a lot of myself during that time to say the least.

"It looks nice and you even bought us food?"

Talia teases as the two come in with bags of groceries, like I said they were more grown up than me. On the rare occasions they do come over they also stock my fridge, guess I am like their child sometimes. "Only the best for my girls!" I tease grabbing a few bags from them. "So how did your date go?"

"Why do you always call it that? We ate some food together because you forced us to I hardly call that a date."

Kya laughs "I mean she's not wrong Tali, so where did you two end up going?" I shrug as I help her put some stuff away, meanwhile Talia is already stuffing her face with the takeout I ordered. "He took me to some mom and pop shop not far from the studio, the food was to die for to be honest and then we went to my favorite bakery to have some desserts, so nothing big." Talia jumps up and speed walks over to me.

"You took him where? Oh my god!!! You do like him! I told you Ky!"

I roll my eyes as Kya looks at me just as surprised as Talia does. "What? Why are you guys freaking out? I literally just said it wasn't a big deal," they both tsk. "You never share your food spots, it took me four months of begging for you to even show me where you got the good mochi from!" I laugh as I continue to put the last few good items away.

"You're being so dramatic, I just like teasing you both," they both roll their eyes as we make our way back over to the take out. "She didn't deny that she didn't like him though!!" Talia whispers oh so loudly making Kya laugh. "She didn't, I like Taehyung though. He's cute, I can see you guys being a great match BUT I'm still holding out for Jimin, I know you guys would have so much fun together." I wave them off as I start to stuff my face.

"Anyways back to the real reason you two came over. What the hell is going on? You guys are keeping secrets again."

I glare, the fun atmosphere in the room instantly changed and again my chest starts to ache. I see Kya grab Talia's hand and my eyes instantly start to water. "What is it?" I mumble I can see the hurt in Talia's eyes but she still flashes me that warm beautiful smile. "I have cancer sweetie...." my hands begin to tingle as I look over at her. "They found a lump in my breast a while back and turns out it's cancer but, I'm having it removed in next week so don't freak out on me."

I nod, my tears silently falling before I quickly go over to her and hug her. It's only then that Talia let's her tears fall, Kya is quick to hug us both. "It will all be okay, she has the best doctors money can buy and once they get all the cancer out we'll get to go shopping for some tits." Talia and I can't help but laugh at that as Kya wipes away our tears.

"Not fair! Talia already has the nicest tits and now she's getting an upgrade?" I tease making Talia's warm smile return, everything had to be okay for her because I couldn't even think about what my life would be without her in it. "It will be a process but, yeah I'm getting an upgrade, you thought Namjoon couldn't keep his hands off me before!" She gives us a teasing look making us both chuckle, a silence falls between us after. A few silent tears fall again between the three of us as we all hold on to each other's hands. "It will be okay Talia."
