Chapter 24

"I know, I'm late."

I'm surprised when I see the two beauties aren't annoyed with me, I give them both a quick kiss on the cheek as well as a quick kiss on Kya's baby bump before I take my seat and join them. "Hey, we're just happy you showed up. Seems like you've forgotten all about us now that your talented boyfriend has fully moved in," I roll my eyes at the dramatic statement, I know they were both over the moon about me moving on with my life. The Hoseok and Jamie chapter was hopefully far behind me. "I've missed two get togethers, sue me," they both playfully glare as I smile and look at the menu.

Taehyung had left on another quick trip a week ago and would be coming home tomorrow. Hence I missed a few get togethers to get in as much time as I could with him. I hated being that girl but I truly loved being around him. We didn't even have to be doing anything in order to enjoy each other's company. Don't get me wrong, part of me was still nervous that this was all a façade or that this whole honeymoon bullshit would fade and he'd realize he was wasting his time with me just like my mother had warned. But I was doing my best to push those voices out of my head and focus on the here and now and enjoy my time in the present. After all I'm only human and can't control the what if's, right?

"We'll let it slide but only because happiness looks so good on you!"

I roll my eyes as they both smile at me. "So now onto to the more important stuff, are you guys having sex all over that beautiful apartment of yours?" Talia smirks as she leans forward. "I miss that part of the relationship, just going at it at a moments notice, not caring who or what's around," we both look over at Kya now as she blushes slightly. "Miss it? Has it even stopped? I've seen the way you and Yoongi look at each other lately and then disappear for a specific amount of time!"

Talia teases, making her cheeks deepen with crimson that much more. "You're one to talk, Talia, the last time I tried to visit you and Namjoon you guys basically fucked in front of me," unlike Kya, Talia sits taller as that wicked smirk spreads across her perfect lips, no doubt she was proud of the accusations. To my blissful knowledge the two had been better than ever, back to their old selves in a sense. I know Namjoon still worries about her but he's doing better at not being so overbearing about everything.

"I'm happy to report that we made love just before I got here, now enough distractions. Answer the question, Y/N."

Again I roll my eyes at their smug faces. "Yes we've blessed the house plenty enough. Now, what are we ordering?" I quickly mumble making them both laugh. "Is it okay if brag about you two? Just let me rub it into a certain few people," Kya says, her wheels turning already, she had informed me prior to this visit that Hoseok and Jamie had their baby. She wanted to know if I'd be okay with them stopping by to meet the little boy. "I'm staying out of that, if you feel the need to talk about me, that's on you," they both laugh as our waiter approaches. To no one's surprise, we order the whole menu, pregnant Kya was my new favorite kind of Kya because that meant I can eat as much as I wanted with her and not feel judged. Not that I cared so much before but it was nice having another partner in crime aside from Taehyung.

"So I'm meeting Taehyung's parents..."

"Are you pregnant?"

I laugh at Talia's blunt statement while Kya slaps her arm. "No I'm not," I laugh, she relaxes as some of our food gets brought out. "Good because at this rate, I'd kill myself, don't get me wrong, I'm happy for you Kya but damn I can't be the only one," my heart aches at her statement but she's quick to change up her mood while Kya and I exchanged a somber look. "I'm happy for you Y/N but don't move so fast, Taehyung is a good guy, don't get me wrong, I just don't want you to dive head first and get crushed," I nod, I can't deny that my chest started to ache and that creeping numbness was starting to inch up my back. I thought they'd be more excited for me, it's not like Taehyung and I were just starting to date it had been a couple months now technically.
