Chapter 11

"Are you excited?"

I smile over at Jimin, after dinner, I told Jimin that I was down to go to Busan for a night. A selfless night away with a new friend seemed like something I needed, Taehyung had called me twice but I couldn't bring myself to answer. I hated myself for allowing any sort of hurt or feelings for this man but I couldn't help myself. As everyone had pointed out, there was chemistry. An undeniable one at that. But I'd have to push my feelings deep deep down inside and do my best to enjoy this night away.

"A little...." I finally say making him chuckle, we had gone straight from Yoongi and Kya's place to Jimin's so he can grab a few things and then went to mine. He had made a point that if we left tonight, we'd have more time to get in trouble. "So what's your cup of tea? You like K-pop? Rap?" He asks as we finally start to head out of Seoul, I arch my brow as he turns on some music.

"I like all kinds of music if that's what you're asking but since we are on the topic! You have to sing for me, I recall Yoongi saying you had a great voice."

He giggles cutely, "he's lying." I roll my eyes and turn up the song that's playing and start to sing loudly, this only makes him laugh louder because I can't sing for shit but that honestly has never stopped me.

"You're hurting my ears."

I gasp and slap his arm making him smile over at me even more, this was exactly what I needed. "Fine, show me how it's done!" He rolls his eyes at me but after a moment, he starts to sing along to the song. I look at him in awe, his voice was angelic. I close my eyes and listen closely, there was something so comforting about it, like his voice was wrapping itself around me and keeping me safe from everything else and warm inside. When he stops, I look over at him and smile.

"You have to record with Yoongi and Namjoon,"

he laughs a little. "No way am I going to do that," he says. "But you're so good! You can't keep that gift from the world!" He giggles cutely again making that ache in my chest hurt a little less, he really was a good guy who deserved all the happiness in the world.

"You know now that I sang for you, you have to dance with me. I recall everyone saying you were a good dancer and despite what you say I think they're right."

I roll my eyes and cross my legs to get a little more comfortable, since he wanted to drive instead of taking a train, we'd be in the car for some time. Though I didn't mind, it would be a good way to get to know each other a little better. "I'm not a good dancer...I'm a great one and I'll happily show you if you treat me to some delicious seafood when we arrive!"

Again, he giggles but nods his head. "It'll be late or early depending on how you look at it but I'll happily treat you to some good seafood." I nod and then turn up the song and start to sing loudly, he continues to laugh and complains I'm going to make him crash if I don't stop. This was nice though, being careless with him and allowing my mind to not overthink for even a split second was nice.

It was almost four in the morning when we arrived, I had fully expected to be in desperate need of sleep but to my surprise, I felt more awake than I had anticipated. "I didn't know you had a place here?" I question when we don't go to a hotel but instead we head into an apartment complex, he only smiles as he grabs our bags and leads the way into the building.
