I squinted my eyes and covered my ears as Angelina's alarm blared off in the dorm. I leaned on one side and peered at the clock on my bedside table. 4:35 it read. The season hasn't even begun and I'm already getting up this early for Quidditch practice. Oliver is a fucking menace.

I sat up gradually and peered over to the other beds. Victoria was awakened by Angelina who was already up and mumbled something I couldn't make out. As Angelina put on her uniform, I stretched and yawned, hearing a few bones crack. I stood up gradually and then threw on my uniform. When I finished, I turned to find Tori attempting to get out of bed.

I stumbled down to the common room where Harry and the twins were waiting in their red and gold robes. I chose to take a seat next to Harry's armchair and gave me a small smile. When Fred and George noticed Angeline dragging a drowsy Victoria, they belted a "Let's go!" putting an end to our animated chat.

We marched through the school ground and onto the pitch, trailing behind everyone else. When Fred noticed, he waited for me and continued walking at my pace while giving me a small smile. Oliver was already on his broom, flying about. When he saw us approach, he carefully dropped down and greeted us enthusiastically.

"It's a great day for practice, don't you think?" he said in a cheery voice. Only Fred and George returned the same energy as the rest grumbled in response. I can never understand how people could get this much energy this early.

Oliver ordered us to huddle together in the changing rooms for a strategy session. He pulled out a bunch of parchment with drawings and used his wand as a guide, pointing over the little dots. As Oliver spoke resolutely, Fred placed his head on my shoulders and I feel my eyes droop.

"The Quidditch season will be starting soon and this is my last year at Hogwarts. I will not take any exceptions, we need to work hard because we're securing that cup," he demanded.

Trying my best to pay attention, all I could focus on was my right shoulder getting wet from Fred's drool. I closed my eyes and leaned my head on Fred's as Oliver's speech droned on. I don't know how long his speech took but eventually, he let us go but not before asking, "any question?"

I didn't realize my head was propped up against Fred's chest while he, who at this point appeared to be awake, put his arm around my shoulders.

"Yeah, why didn't you say any of that when we were awake?" he joked, earning a few snickers from the team.

Oliver clicked his tongue and commanded us to get our brooms to commence our practice. We got to our positions, feeling the cold breeze numb my face. Oliver blew his whistle and we darted off.

"Wait, do we add the algae first or the rat tail?" Tori asked, scratching her head.

When practice was done we immediately got changed into our school robes and went to breakfast. Divination is a load of rubbish, and I can hardly function, so I skipped it in order to get more sleep. And I don't think I'll be able to maintain composure especially if it's professor Trelawney. When muggle studies were done the girls and I headed off to the library to finish Snape's homework which is two rolls on the procedure of the Hair-Raising potion.

"Algae," I replied.

The only sound in the library today is the rustling of parchments because there weren't many students. Considering that it's a Friday I think they'd prefer to relax than procrastinate a few hours before the lesson. The three of us whispered to one another about our work and argued about the procedure.
