ALMOST
"Redresse-toi, Elisaria!" (Sit up straight, Elisaria!) my French instructor exclaimed before hitting me in the head with a hard-bound dictionary.
"Since you went to that stupid school you have been slouching, you will break your back if you continue to do that."
I straightened my back as she put another book on my head making a stack of 5. She walked around whilst I stare outside. I can see how the wind slowly moves around the beautiful daisies.
The wind made it seem like they are dancing.
I let my mind wander off and yet again I was hit in the head by my wonderful tutor, Vienna.
"Sors d'ici avant que je te rase les cheveux." (Get out of here before I shave off your hair) she said as she pinch the bridge of her nose.
I quickly stood up and contemplated running but decided against it and speed walked instead, she'll have my whole head if I did that. I went past the gazebo and sat in the grass near a tree where I found a bowtruckle a few years ago. I plucked a daisy and twirled it around the tip of my fingers and watched my little friend, Alexandre, climb my arm.
'Maybe I could sneak him to Hogwarts with me?' I thought. There is a big problem though, my owl, Minnie. I am certain that she will eat the poor fellow.
I softly caressed his head as he stared up at me. "I will find a way for you my, Alex. I promise." I smiled as he sat down in my palm, still looking at me. I glanced up as an orange butterfly flew by, its colors reminding me of a certain redhead. My eyes followed the creature and there I caught sight of my brother, Timothée, in the living room, playing the piano.
I smiled.
Cette nuit-là j'aurais écrit une chanson
Quelques petits mots de tendresse
Chuchotements d'amour et chéri bien sûr
J'aurais dû dévouer mille phrases à vous
I love France and I love being able to be with my parents but I miss my friends. They have gone traveling with their loved ones, they insisted me on going with them but I did not want to intrude. I closed my eyes as I feel the wind on my face, smelling the coffee our maids are preparing it means our parents will be home soon.
We lived in The Loire Valley, a French countryside in a castle-like house that was passed down by our late, late grandfather Delacour Sr. which was also passed down by his late, late grandfather. My father was betrothed to another pureblood family specifically Andromeda Black. Both parties wanted out and so Arthur Weasley helped Andromeda escape the Black household who then later helped Martin elope a French maiden. My mother, Cecilia Marie Delacour, works at the Bureau de la Justice Magique. This department was the equivalent of the British Ministry of Magic's Department of Magical Law Enforcement. And my father, Martin Lyam Macmillan, is a well-known Auror.
Maman studied in Beaubaxton and Papa studied at Hogwarts, my parents met when my mother was strolling about in London, they bumped into each other in a little cafe and my father offered to show her around. Maman spent a month in Kensington London and although they had little time they grew so attached to each other that my father decided to moved to France just to see her every day not knowing if she felt the same way as he did. 2 weeks later they got married.
Cette nuit-là j'aurais brassé des idées
Mes amourettes d'un moment plus près de vous
