"YEAH, I'M FREE!" Sonic shouted as he ran for joy through Station Square and stopped in front of the hovering Eggman with a massive smile on his face, making the doctor freak out from the expression on his face, as he had just finished spin-dashing all the robots he had on the ground.
Sonic couldn't hold in his joy as he spoke to the doctor, expecting another attack to come his way.
Sonic: Eggman, boy, am I glad to see you
Eggman hovered in the air in his Egg Mobile, puzzled and unamused as Sonic spoke, almost as if he missed him. Eggman had expected anger, not happiness, and the reaction left him frustrated.
Eggman: Huh?..... Did you hit your head or something, you blue walking pincushion
Sonic: No, I'm just thrilled to see you, that's all, so what is it today, capture or destroy?
Sonic spoke with his eyes closed, a gentle and innocent smile gracing his face.
Eggman: Uhm.
Sonic: Come on, Eggy, get your robots to attack me or something..... Pleeaaasseee
Eggman: Well, I would, but um...(slam) YOU ALREADY DESTROY THEM YOU BLUE RAT!
Sonic glanced around, realising he was right, then turned back to Eggman and replied.
Sonic: Oh, I guess I did, sorry, I must have got carried away
Sonic was still smiling and rubbing the back of his quills, while Eggman thought he was taunting him, fuming at the blue teen's somewhat creepy attitude.
Eggman: YOU!....YOOOUUUU!...IWILLGETYOUBACKFORTHIS!!!
With that, Eggman turned and flew away, much to Sonic's disappointment
Sonic: HEY WAIT! COME BACK. SURELY YOU GOT SOMETHING ELSE FOR ME!
Eggman only turns, screaming, "YOU ARE LOSING IT, HEDGEHOG!" before leaving to go back to his new base with a crowd cheering for Sonic's victory, not happy with the quick battle, while he walked to the store to get the snacks that Shadow had requested.

Sonic bought the snacks and walked out of the store, with everyone thanking him for saving the day. Tails ran up to him and hugged him, making Sonic smile as he saw his best friend smile.
Tails: Sonic, congratulations on beating Eggman! That was incredibly fast, and I think it's a new record!
Sonic: Ah, yeah, I guess it was the quickest I've ever been on Eggman robots
He said as he ruffled his little brother's fur from the top of his head, making Tails laugh till Sonic abruptly stopped when someone spoke out to get both of their attention.
?: Excuse me, but may I have a word with you, Sonic?
Sonic looked and saw that it was a pink hedgehog, and next to her was a green hedgehog, both looking at him with a serious expression.
Sonic wasn't happy to see both of them, while Tails remained confused by the two cold demeanours
Tails: Sonic, who are they?
Sonic: No one to worry about but me. I need to speak to them alone, so I'll see you later
Sonic then went to the distance with the two as they asked him to enter the limo, they stopped next to, but with Sonic Stubben's mood, he refused
Sonic: Yeah, right, I'm not stupid enough to go in there when I know where you would be taking me
Sonia just sighed before trying to rationally think of a way to convince him to come with them.
Sonia: Fine, let's go over there, so we can have a chat with me and Manic like we used to
Manic, the green hedgehog beside her, walked into the local cafe together, and they both settled in a quiet corner that was free for them to use, with Sonic sitting down across from them.
They both ordered themselves a drink, while Sonic refused, as he said he wouldn't be here for long.
Manic: I see you're still Stubben, as always, little bro
Sonic: Look, if you're here because of him, then I'm not interested. Tell him and those two you call parents to get lost
Sonia: But Sonic, you have to, or else...
Sonic slammed his fist down on the table, getting everyone's attention in the cafe and said in a stern voice.
Sonic: I told you and them that it's never going to happen, even if it causes a war, then let it. You two deal with it. I have already denounced your family, so find someone else who is willing to have their freedom taken.
With that sonic storm out, he did not care about the stares he got from others as he walked out. Stepping outside the door, he saw a load of mobian soldiers waiting to intervene if he refused to go quietly.
Manic: Sorry, bro, but he said he wants you. He's not going to take no for an answer
Sonia: If you come with us quietly, then I'm sure you and he can talk it out
Sonic turned to his siblings and smirked as he used his speed to dash past the soldiers. Others, already aware of his speed, started their vehicles and followed him on the freeway that Sonic ran to.
Sonic: Oh, it's going to be that way, huh? Then try to catch me
Sonic ran swiftly, dodging the nets that soldiers on the passengers' sides were shooting at him, but they kept missing. However, as he focused on avoiding their attacks, he noticed more soldiers ahead doing the same thing. This distraction caused him to lose concentration, and he ended up getting caught in one of the nets. Tripping him over with the force of the impact, sending him flying off the freeway and into a ditch below.
With a massive thud, Sonic was covered in dirt as he felt the painful landing
"ARGH...ARE YOU GUYS TRYING TO KILL ME OR SOMETHING!"
Sonic said as he saw that the net wasn't completely secure and got himself out of it, then ran away before they could catch him, making them lose sight of him. Sonic then quickly ran back to Shadow House, where he was waiting for him.
