"Hi." Ken greeted me as I sat on the shotgun seat. 
"Hi." I replied. 
He smiled at me but it seems forced. 
It's past 5 in the afternoon. 
Mukhang dinner date pa ang labas ng 'pag uusap' ng dalawa ah.
He started the engine and drive. 
Silence.
The car was filled with silence. 
Bakit ba sa twing nasa kotse kami, tahimik lang? 
Dapat nasa kotse nalang kami lagi. Di joke lang. 
I throw Ken a glance and he really looks troubled. He also seems sleepless.
Walang binatbat yung eyebag ko sa eyebag niya. 
Hindi ko na kinaya ang katahimikang namamayani sa pagitan naming dalawa. 
"You okay?"
What a stupid question Pablo. Mukha ba siyang okay??
"Yeah. Medyo hindi lang nakatulog. hehe." he answered without looking at me.
Anong medyo lang? Busog na busog kaya eyebags mo. Parang ilang araw mong inalagaan ng mabuti. 
I nodded. 
Kunwari nalang naniniwala ako. 
Silence. Again.
"Ken..." 
"Hmmm?" he hummed in response.
"Pwede ka pa magback out." I said and looked at him. 
Nagulat yata siya sa sinabi ko kaya napalingon din siya sa akin. 
"You don't have to force yourself, especially your heart, if you can't face him yet." saad ko. 
I know that I suggested him to talk to his ex but seeing Ken like this, kahit wag nalang siguro. 
"Mag U-turn na ba ako?" he asked while smiling. 
"Go lang." saad ko habang ibinabalik ang ngiting ibinigay niya. 
He chuckled.
"Di na. Nandito na tayo eh." 
I looked outside and saw a fancy Italian resto.
Dito sila mag uusap? Hanep. Ngayon ko nga lang napansin na naka semi formal pala si Ken.
"Isa pa, nandyan ka naman para sakin, hindi ba?" tanong nito. 
"Oo naman." I tapped his shoulder. "Ano pa bang magagawa ko eh kasama mo na 'ko dito?" I jokingly said. 
Ken giggled. 
"Yaan mo, babawi ako sayo next time." he said.
"Aba dapat lang. Mahaba na ang listahan mo Ken Suson." I smirked.
Nagpakawala muli ito ng mumunting halakhak na nagpagaan sa loob ko. 
I wish ganito ka lang lagi. Masaya.
We got out of the car and immediately headed to the entrance of the restaurant. 
Ken stopped and heaved a sigh.
