Chapter 15."Lost"

You ran out of the house,clinging onto your back as you made your way to the road.However,you didn't really recognize the surroundings.Either you have never been in this area before or this was a some kind of a distanced private property.It didn't really matter at that point.Your main objective was to get as far away as possible from the two of your co-workers and to just forget about the night and morning for a certain amount of time,to fixate your mind on something else.
As you were walking down the small path you were mesmerized by the amount of flora around.And it was not only just some random weeds.There were wild flowers of different sorts growing from every corner,some even growing through the pavement walk.The birds on the tree tops chirped happily as the summer was finally here.The warm wind of the sunny afternoon caressed your skin ,your hair flying everywhere.The sun was shining oddly bright,not a very common occurrence for the beginning of the summer.
And even though all of that was precious as you had already forgotten how nice it can be outside your little cave you still had a pretty long way ahead of you.
And at that you managed to get lost on your way out.You turned the corner and stepped into some kind of an alley.
-Where the hell am I...?-You asked yourself out loud looking around hopelessly.It made you feel uneasy as you were completely lost.As you stepped further into the woods you turned around to see the return path but it magically has disappeared.You gulped and continued your way further into the unknown.
You've been walking for Lord knows how long and still no road was in sight.A small man made path led you to the small opening in the woods which,to be fair,isn't exactly normal in such area.
The flashbacks of your past started dancing evilly in your head.However,you stood strong against your weaknesses.Now was not the time.You shuddered moving forward cautiously,almost as if expecting someone to jump out at you.

Meanwhile,the guys were still at the house.Scott was doing a staring contest with Vincent as the two men were sitting across from each other in the living room.Vincent's face was emotionless,blank one might even say.His arms crossed on his chest,the posture relaxed as the man crisscrossed his legs.
-Are going to stare at me the whole day?-Vincent uttered with a sly smirk.
-If you don't at least call her and apologize then yes I am.-Scott replied without a note of hesitation in his tone.
-Too bad then,I won't do that.-Vincent closed his eyes and threw his head back.-You can stop burning a hole in me,you know?
Scott didn't even flinch,his eyes fixated on his purple opponent.However,a long exasperated sigh left his chest as the man straightened up his posture.
-If you don't then I'll do it.I've had enough of this bullshit of yours.-Said the phone guy leaving his seat and heading to the outside porch.

As the time was recklessly moving on,you continued your way into the unknown area in the woods.Your feet were leading you somewhere forward through the trees,the branches grasping your clothes as you walked through.The sun peeked through the leaves making everything look like a dream land.
But then the familiar children's voices appeared once again making you stop dead in your tracks.You started looking around in search from where might the sound be coming from.But to no avail.
"Ring around the rosie,
Ring around the rosie,
Pocket full of posie..."
The voices kept repeating around you,like they were dancing in a circle.You were petrified,your head starting to spin as you tried to locate where they were.
-STOP IT!-You screamed helplessly.-I KNOW YOU'RE HERE!WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME?!-You needed an answer why were they terrorizing you exclusively.
Slowly the small children's silhouettes started to get darker and darker forming a real human ones.Your eyes widened as you looked at what was unraveling before your very eyes.
"Hi friend"-One of the kids spoke up.
"We meet again"-The girl made a step towards you.
"We've waited for so long to finally speak to you"-Another child uttered.
"We need you"-Another girl stepped closer to you and looked up at you with her stark white eyes.
"Don't trust the man in purple"-And yet another figure showed up,presumably a boy.
"Chris this is not what we're here for"-The girl uttered looking down at her feet.
-What are you...talking about...?-You voiced shakily.You stepped closer to the kids who now lined up before you.-Don't trust who...?
"The man in purple..."-All of them lowered their eyes.
"Sh!Someone's coming!"-The girl immediately disappeared after saying that,and all the other kids followed shortly after.Now you were all alone standing in the middle of the forest.
You stood there dumbfounded with your lips agaped slightly.
