Angel opened her eyes, the sound of birds chirping invading her ears as she looked around, noticing the truck was now empty. She exited and saw Hopper and Joyce talking while Hopper handcuffed the scientist to a tree. "What's going on?" Thr brunette questioned. "Trucks messed up. Would have Smirnoff look at it but he might kill us." Angel walked over to the scientist, "You take a look at the truck, fix it and i will let you live" "You are a traitor to our country. I will never help you." Angel cocked her arm back before Hopper stood in front of her. "Let me fix it alright?" The youngest girl of the group sighed, angry that she couldn't see her love, Max Mayfield. She took a seat on a rock and held her head in her hands. Hopper sighed and headed over to his daughter, "What's wrong?" she stayed quiet for a moment before looking up, "I've been avoiding Max because I've seen some shit back in Ukraine and I cry about it from time to time but i dont want her to see me like that. I dont want to disappoint her, make her think im weak." Hopper scoffed, "Kid, you're far from weak. You literally tried to fight a guy twice my size to save me. You're the bravest person I know." Hopper smiled at Angel who smiled back and gave him a hug.
Danny stood on some boxes, reaching for the top of thr elevator. "Fuck." he whispered but it was loud enough to wake up Steve. "You need help?" "Yeah. Just give me a boost." Steve nodded and pushed Danny's legs up, him being able to easily crawl up through the small hole. "Grab my hand!" Steve whispered, reaching his hand up for Danny to pull. Once they were both on the top, they turn to face the opposite directions and used the bathroom. "Can you please redirect your stream?" Robin asked. Erica pointed out that she could hear voices outside the doors and everyone climbed to the top. Russian soldiers opened the doors and took a few boxes before leaving but before the elevator doors could close, Danny placed the green vile under the door. "Go go!" Steve shouted, letting everyone get out before him but he rolled through thr small space before the green vile broke. Everyone looked at it as it burned through the floor.
"You sure you wanna drink that still?"
After Hopper attempted to fix the truck and the engine exploded, causing Joyce and him to argue, Alexei made a run for it. "Hey!" Angel shouted, running after the smaller russian man, tripping over branches. She was about to grab him when he came to an abrupt stop, Angel running into his back and them tumbling down the small hill onto the road. Infront of them was a gas station.
Alex hopped around the house to get to the kitchen. Year prior, she had been hit in the shins by Angel with a bat that had something on it which caused an infection to spread throughout her body. She didn't really blame Angel since she was a real asshole before but now she just wanted to redeem herself in some way. The front door opened and slammed shut, startling the young Hargrove girl. "Dad? Susan?" Nothing. "Bill?" "Yea. Its me." He walked into the kitchen, sweaty and blood on his face. "The hell happened to you?" Just then, a pain shot through Alex's leg, all the way to her chest. She fell back as she screamed in agony, black veins being prominent under her skin.
Angel walked around the 7/11, looking for some cookies. The man behind the counter stared at the four weirdly, Hopper had cuts and bruises on his face, Angel's ear and shoulder were bloody along with thr bruise on her neck and broken nose, Alexei was handcuffed and Joyce just looked normal. After paying for everything, Joyce went to the payphone to call her kids. Hopper walked up to a man pumping gas into his car and pushed Alexei in. "Thank you sir for letting us use your car." Hopper spoke, pushing Angel in too. Joyce walked back to see what was happening. "Sergeant Byers! This kind man, Todd is letting us use his car to transport the dangerous criminals." Hopper and Joyce got in as Todd questioned what station he should call. Angel leaned over and turned the music up, "Ooh i love the sound of that Todd!"

"Rue!" Nancy shouted, slapping the girl a couple of times. "Where am i?" She asked, not opening her eyes due to the light being too bright. "You're in the hospital. We need to leave! Now!." Rue opened her eyes and looked around. "Where's El?" "She's downstairs -" "Nancy drew! Who's this?" a man walked through the door, bloody and sweaty. He had a knife in hand. He reached for Nancy but Rue whacked him with the metal tray that was on the table. The girl stood and with the help of Nancy, ran out the room. Jonathan was running down the hallway and a familiar man came into view, "That's Tom Halloway!" "How do you know Tom?" The first man emerged from the room they were just in, whistling as he did. "I'll explain later. Run!"
Jonathan ran into a room and Tom followed, whacking him with a fire extinguisher. He dropped to the ground and when he tried to stand again, was whacked again. Tom went in for another hit but his head was pulled back and his throat was cut by a tiny knife, until the whole head was off. Jonathan looked up to see a bloody Rue, in her previous clothes. The two looked at the body and saw it was becomimg like a gloopy slime.
It went down the hallway and the two followed it. They looked up to see, "Nancy!" Nancy ran as the blob turned into a monster with teeth, chasing right after the girl as the other two chased the monster. Nancy locked herself in a room and the monster seeped in through cracks. Jonathan and Rue banged against the door, trying to open it but it was no use.
Nancy was cornered and when the monster was in her face, the door flew off the hinges. There stood the group. The monster turned and screeched, causing Max to yell, "Holy shit!"
El knocked the monster to the left, the right, up and down before pushing him out the window. Everyone ran down to the entrance to see him seep into the gutter.
Earlier
Hopper arrived in front of a small warehouse. Everyone got off and he knocked on the door, a voice spoke from the speaker. "Names?" "Uhh Jim, Joyce, Angel, Smirnoff." "Full name?" "I don't know? Just open up." A few locks were heard unlatching and the door opened to reveal Murray bauman holding a double barreled shotgun to Alexeis face, "Get that out my face you bald bastard" Alexei said. "Why dont you make me, commie scum." Alexeis eyes went wide as Angel laughed. "Hey Uncle Murray." "Angel! Come in!"
Danny whined about his feet hurting so Steve had offered to give him a back ride. He had fallen asleep while the others groaned and walked down the long walkway until they found the center. "I saw the comms room." Erica said so they headed where she told them. When they got in, Danny woke up and jumped off Steves back, startling the guard that was sitting. He reaches for his gun but Danny and Robin began to repeat the code back to him. He went to grab it again but befor he could, Steve rushed him, the two fighting before Steve grabbed the red phone and knocked him out. "Holy shit! You won a fight!" Dustin exclaimed, "Wait until Rue hears about this." Danny said with a smile. "Uh guys?" Robin called for the group who looked through the window on a door. They walked through and there was another door. When they returned to the comms room, Erica pointed out, "Uh Steve? Where's your Russian friend?" They saw that the guard was gone and an alarm blared off, guard began to chase them. The group ran through the door, startling scientist and running passed the machine that was on. They made it into another room before they held the door close. "You three need to go!" Steve said, looking at Dustin, Erica and Danny. "I'm not leaving you!" Danny said, pushing all his weight against the door. They stared at each other for a second before Steve just leaned in and gave him a cheek kiss, making the boys face heat up. "You two go find help"
"we'll never forget you!"
"Go!"
They escaped through the air ducts as the door was finally pushed open, the guards grabbing the three and dragging them to a room.
