Everyone searched high and low for clues (not including the Logical one, Rude one and Insane one, who were looking for clues by reading every word in books they found). Suddenly a scream sounded from the bedroom where the Gold Digger and Thief had gone. Everyone ran to the room and looked inside.
"She's dead, she's dead! The poor girl is dead!" the Cook mourned, for there lying in front of them was the Gold Digger, a bloody ball point pen dug into the temple of her skull.
"The Thief! She did it! She was the only one with her!" the Peasant cried. Everyone turned to look at the Thief, who had come from the kitchen with a half eaten apple in hand.
"I swear it wasn't me! I was in the kitchen!" the Thief said, holding up the apple to emphasize her point.
Then who did it?
Everyone decided they couldn't mourn and had to get out of the house. They reluctantly closed the door and continued to search where they had been, a cautious aura about them.
