The silence didn't last long. A gunshot had sounded from the huge living room, but the Policeman and Rude one had been in a room far from the living room. Everyone ran to the living room, the Butler, Policeman and Rude one arriving later than the others. Lying on the couch was the Maid with a bullet hole in her forehead.
"I told you it wasn't me!" the Rude one exclaimed. Everyone looked at the Policeman, who was the only one who had had a gun.
"My gun went missing when the first one died, and I still haven't seen it. I abide by the law and would never kill someone without a just purpose." the Policeman defended, but no one bought it. No one trusted anyone anymore, but his gun truly was missing from his belt.
Was it the Policeman? Was it someone else? The murderer remains a mystery.
