"The Mistress! She did it! She is the only one not here!" the Cook concluded.
"We should stick together and find her so she can't kill any more of us." the Butler said, and they all went to go back downstairs, then suddenly stopped and gasped. There, hung over the staircase by a rope around her neck, was the Mistress.
"Poor girl... She wasn't the murderer, but a victim! And we had blamed her..." the Duchess sighed. Everyone felt guilty for blaming her and went down another flight of stairs, unable to look at her hung corpse any longer.
"We might as well look for more clues... " the Doctor sighed. Back to square one.
"But i'm scared... I don't want to die!" the Peasant cried.
"Nobody wants to, which is why we have to look for clues and get out of here." the Duchess assured with an awkward smile, not even assuring herself. No one was convinced they were safe anymore. All they wished was for the next dead one not to be themself.
