[Chapter 8]: •Frisky Aren't We?•

<So, to make up for the NEARLY TWO ENTIRE WEEKS OF MY PROCRASTINATING THIS STORY I will be focusing more on this than most things.
Don't worry, I'll still be doing homework and other important healthy thingies.
I'll just work on this way more whenever my imagination wakes me up and beats the crap outta me at 2 am, I'll get back to work on this.>

•{2nd Person}•

Shuffling violently through the covers you pick up your pillow and shove it onto your face to scream into it.
A few seconds later the rings on the phone timed out. You visibly relaxed.

But then they started up again. Whoever was calling you either had no sense of time or couldn't care less about waking you up from your beauty sleep.

You groaned loudly and Author who was sleeping on the couch threw a throw pillow at you.
You threw it back at them and continued to hide under your covers away from whoever was calling you.

The phone rings timed out again. But of course the person called again.
Author got up from the couch to either break your phone with a hammer or answer the call for you.

It was the latter choice.
As they picked up, you could hear Papyrus' loud voice practically explode through the phone. He was always loud enough for you to not even use speaker.

You sigh and relax under the blankets once the annoying ringtone finally ceased. But then you hear Author talk to Papyrus.
Getting curious, you listened in.

"SANS FOUND A HUMAN AND WE WANT Y/N TO MEET THEM! I HAVE A FEELING THEY WOULD GET ALONG!!"

Author sighed at this statement.
"Papyrus, you can't know if someone will get along with someone else before they even know they exist. They might grow a dislike of one another."

Papyrus whines at her about it as you zone out, your brain buffering at what Paps just said. .

'A human has fallen down. . ?'

As the thought registered into your neglectful pink noodle you gasped loudly, throwing off the blankets in excitement.

'A HUMAN HAS FALLEN DOWN!!'

You rush out of your bed and scramble to your feet, violently digging through the chest at the foot of your bed for a cute outfit to throw on. Author chuckles at your behavior.

It's been so long since you've seen another human! You could barely contain yourself as you zoomed into the bathroom to change.

Exploding out of the bathroom with a crash, you flop onto the floor then pull yourself up.
"Ow.."

Author snorts at your idiocy but finish up the call with Papyrus.
"Yep. Alrighty, you too bud.
Goodbye Paps."

Hanging up and tossing your phone onto your bed, Author comes over to help you walk over to the foot of your bed to see where you got hurt.

"You really need to be more careful
Y/n, you could have gotten really hurt. Luckily you just twisted your ankle. ." Author sighed and laid you down on your bed with a pillow under your ankle.

You frowned knowing that you can't go immediately meet the newcomer.
Author opened up your phone and texted Papyrus, saying that you won't be able to leave the house today because something happened.

As Author put the phone face down on your nightstand after sending the text message. They walked into the kitchen to make you some tea for you to relax.
A few seconds later your phone started blowing up with notifications.
You ignored your phone because you felt too down about not being able to go out.
