The only one that keeps me sane

"Hey baby, sorry I'm late my meeting ran over." Phil said as he took off his coat and put his bag down. Dan came running down the hall in just a hoodie and thigh high socks.

"Is okay daddy" Dan said as he cuddled into Phil's embrace. Phil hosted Dan up onto his hip and walked to the bed room placing Dan down on the bed with a kiss on the cheek he went to change outta his work clothes. He returned changed into pajama bottoms and a random colorful T-shirt. He picked Dan back up and walked to the playroom.

" You do anything fun today baby?" Phil asked as he got a diaper and powder, Dan preferred to wear diapers in little space, but when Phil wasn't home to change him he wore panties. It had become part of there routine that when Phil got homee he'd change and then change Dan into a nappy.

"Bunny and me watch tangled and naps" Dan said yawning slightly, still tired even after a full day of sleeping.

"Well that sounds nice doll" Phil said putting the powder away picking Dan back up bring him to the kitchen.

"Any ideas for dinner?" Phil said as he looked through the cabinets. Dan, slightly dozing on his shoulder, shook his head no.

" Don't fall asleep before dinner baby." Phil chuckled at the little boy, bouncing him a little to keep him awake. Phil decided to just make boxed Mac and cheese tonight. It was already later than usual and he could tell Dan was not going to be awake for too long after dinner. Phil placed him on the counter and got to work on the food.

"What would you like to drink princess?" Phil said as Dan jolted awake as he was basically asleep even sitting up.

"Uhhhhh juice" Dan said slowly closing his eyes again.

"Could you be a little more specific baby? I promise we can go to sleep right after dinner" Phil said, Dan whined a bit before answering.

"Grape" Dan said as he watched Phil nod and full his cup handing it to Dan before bringing him to sit at the table. Phil went to get the bowls. He placed the plastic repunzel bowl in front of Dan and a normal one for himself.

They are in a conferable silence, Phil chuckled every now and then when he caught Dan falling asleep and jolting awake we'll eating. Once they finished Phil put the bowls away and brought Dan to get ready for bed. After brushing teeth and a diaper change Phil layes down with Dan and cuddles up with him turning off the bedside lamp.

"Goodnight baby, daddy loves you" Phil said kissing Dan's cheek and clicking off the light.

"Ninis daddy, love you too" Dan mumbled into Phil's chest before passing out.
