Andrias raised up the calamity gauntlet and clenched his fist. The gems glowed like little stars as magic coursed through the armament. Immediately all sounds of cheering ceased. In fact the entire world seemed to go quiet. Every Amphibian and animal present frozen in horror.
"You showed him infinity war?!?" Sasha yelled looking at her greener girlfriend.
"I didn't know! How could I know?" Marcy blurted back gesturing at the criminal image  chuckling lightly at them.
"Girls focus, I don't wanna think what he can do with that thing." Anne grabbed their attention. Andrias admired the instrument of evil as the girls bickered. He didn't seem to be in any hurry to continue the battle.
"You know... on some level I really should thank you." The king mused leaving the girls even more shook. They each quirked a brow as he began to pace through the ankle deep water of the Newtopian basin. "The core was... twisted." He nodded. "From the moment I met it all it did was ruin my life and turn everything I cherished into rubbish."
"But now that it's gone." Andrias took off his crown and crushed it with his gauntleted hand. "Well I need to justify my actions somehow... I've come too far... given up too much." He looked darkly at the trio. "Lost too much, for this to all be for nothing."
"It doesn't have to be this way, I know you have a heart, I saw the pain in your eyes when the core took me over." Marcy begged. "Don't do this."
"I'm afraid I have to Marcy, the core took everything from me and gave me only one goal, to bring this world to a new age but now that it's gone the only way I can justify all these years of servitude... is to do what it couldn't." He raised the gauntlet up and pressed his thumb and finger together. "How did that line go Marcy?" He chuckled darkly. "Oh right... Ultimate power at the snap of my fingers."
   "No!" Marcy lunged.
   SNAP
Anne was blinded instantly. Sasha tried to shield her eyes. Marcy felt herself pushed back as the light enveloped the entire battlefield. Heaven and earth collided. The ground shook. The seas boiled. The world ended. And then it all just stopped.
"What happened?" Anne blinked trying to look around. She looked over at Marcy who was patting herself over looking for new injuries but she didn't seem to be finding anything.
"Guys?" Sasha called to them looking at the empty field. "Where is everyone?"
Anne froze. The quiet. That's what was wrong it was too quiet. Where was the battle? Where was the rebellion? Anne scanned the horizon and saw nothing. Not a soul besides the trio and Andrias standing looking smug.
"What did you do?" Anne's eyes like those of a hawk locking onto a rabbit slowly hovered over to Andrias. The darkness in her voice was matched only by the sudden swell in her blue glow.
"Don't worry they're fine, I just wanted them out of the way." Andrias chuckled. "I didn't want any distractions from this." He raised the fist as pink, blue and green energy crawled up his veins.
"They're ok." Anne let out a breath she didn't know she was holding.
"No distractions, alright let's break him." Sasha cracked her knuckles.
"Sounds good to me." Marcy's eyes glowed dangerously.
"So, to the finish then." Andrias closed his fist. And the trio rocketed toward him.

SNAP!
Sprig looked around confused as the sounds of battle were suddenly muffled by the sounds of traffic and confused people shouting.
"What?" The pink frog looked around finding himself back on Earth! "We're on earth?!?" He shouted!
"And we're not the only ones!" Hop Pop called from nearby. The plantar's had landed on an overpass like last time looking down they saw the rest of the rebellion and the meager remains of the frobot army all over down town. Frogs, Newts and toads looked around confused.
"Mr. X is gonna kill us." Polly muttered watching Grime and Beatrix attack a car that honked at them.
"Definitely ain't getting a Medal of Honor right Sprig?" No response. "Sprig?" Hopediah looked at grandson.
The pink frog looked at the sky searching for a sign. "Where's Anne?"

Andrias vanished as his fist closed a portal opening behind him and swallowing him while.
"What?" Anne panic scanned the area.
"Where'd he go?" Sasha and Marcy got back to back with Anne.
"With the power of the calamity gems he can go between whatever dimensions he wants!" Marcy's head was on a swivel looking for the tell tale signs of another portal when they came in the form of a shadow descending on them.
"Move!" The girls blasted away as the entire ground shattered from Andrias punched it with his shiny new gauntlet.
The girls each flipped backwards end over end as the ground continued to crack and blister. Coils of green, pink and blue twisted beneath the waves of rock and dirt as huge car sized olm heads emerged each hunting one of the calamity girls.
"Oh that's so cool!" Marcy sad before noping out of the engagement as she shot skyward with the gnashing jaws following her into the air.
"Get out of my way!" Sasha skidded to a halt and brought her hammer to bare smashing the energy olm and sending it soaring away.
Anne caught the jaws of her's with her bare hands holding the teeth from digging into her palms with force of will alone.
"You wanna eat something eat this!" She aimed one hand down its throat and blue energy blossomed like a thousand tiny suns. Fire and destruction erupted from every inch of the being followed shortly by then fizzling into nothingness.
Anne and Sasha looked skyward. Marcy barrel rolled trying to lose her tail but the green energy olm was locked onto her like heron out for blood.
"Ok what do I do?" Marcy gulped sputtering through a list of animes to search for the right power to try to emulate.
"Ok I have a cape, laser eyes, super strength and speed, who else can do that?" She wracked her brain as the enemy rounded on her jaws closing in.
"Oh I know! I'm super- CHOMP!!!
  The olm engulfed her wholsale.
"Marcy!" Her girlfriends shrieked in unison. Both prepared to burst into the sky after the olm only for the its belly to suddenly expand like a bomb had gone off. That bomb was called Marcy as she erupted from the fading  ethereal amphibian.
"I'm a gosh darn kryptonian baby!" Was her battle cry.
"Do you know what the heck she's talking about?" Sasha asked somewhat dumbfounded.
"Nope, never do." Anne answered equally stunned.
Andrias seemed to be the only one not impressed as he dragged his hand through the air summoning a squall of lasers.
The girls leapt back into action screaming across the sky chased by laser light explosions.
The spiraling of colors curved toward the ground and burst toward the tyrant. Andrias caught them with his gauntleted hand holding back the malevolent maelstrom of neon lights only for them to suddenly explode passed him.
  "How dare-
His threats cut off by being sent end over end by a cascade of punches. Blows hammered him from all sides until he landed and thrust up his hand sending a shockwave to blast the girls away.
Green righted herself first flying back into the fray to fire her eye beams into the Amphibia king's defenses.
He raise his hand creating a swirling barrier of colors.
"Why does it have to be this way! We could have been family! You could have been the father I wanted!" Marcy pleased tears sizzled in the stream of light from her eyes.
"I know, and I did want that." Andrias admitted struggling against the blast. "But I already had a family, and they betrayed me, to lose another won't hurt nearly as much."
The whirling mass of colors curled inward until it became something else.
   SHWING!
Three colors pierced the beam of one as a blade of calamity carved through the green girl's attack.
"That's the way you wanna play huh? Fine!" Anne held out her hand. "Let's see how you like it!"
