Angelica's pov

I woke up to my alarm. Great, my first day of school here in Australia.

I was already dreading the day.

I was going to finish my last year of high school here.

I threw on a pair of skinny, ripped jeans, with a black tank top, and a long, half sleeved, cardigan.

I threw my hair up in a bun, since I didn't want my hair all in my face today.

I put on some mascara, eyeliner, and concealer to cover up my purple eye, since the concealer I put on last night rubbed off.

I ran downstairs to grab something to eat.

As I was making my toast, my mom asked me a question, that I never wanted to hear.

"Honey, why do you have a purple eye?"

When she asked that, everyone stopped eating breakfast and turned around to look at my eye.

I was confused, since I had covered it up pretty good before I came downstairs.

I was confused until I saw my reflection in the toaster.

Oh god. The concealer must have rubbed off when I rubbed my eye.

God, why am I so stupid?

" I was picking something off the ground and while I was standing up, I hit my eye on the table corner," I lied.

"Oh honey are you okay?" My mom asked.

"Yeah I'm fine. But I'm late for school so I better go. Bye!" I waved at all of them, as I rushed to get out of the house.

My new school was not far from my house so my mom suggested that I walk to school, while my Aunt Jen said that I should take her car, and the two of them debated for about 30 minutes, but my mom won in the end.

I had to cover up my purple eye before I got to school, so while I was walking, I was applying my concealer, while looking at my little mirror I carry around in my bag.

While I was finishing up, I heard a car honk. I turned around to see Ashton, Luke, Calum, and Michael.

"Need a ride?" Ashton asked.

"No," I shook my head, "Aren't you a little too old to be attending high school?"

"Im just dropping them off at school, since they're too lazy to walk," He explained.

"Okay whatever. You can take them to school now," I said waving them off.

"Have fun walking!" he said before he drove off.

Man I hate them all.

As I walked into the hallway, I had on every step I took.

I got so many stares, and everyone kept whispering to each other.

But, it didn't affect me because I was used to it.

I got to my locker and put all my stuff in it, then headed to the main office to receive my schedule.

As I got up to the front desk, an old lady greeted me.

"How can I help you?" She asked

"I'm here to get my schedule" I responded.

"Ahh new student. What's your name?" She questioned.

"Angelica Peters," I cringed at my last name.

"Here's your schedule, Angelica. Have a nice day" she told me.
