We were in the studio today and it was a godsend, seriously sending a Canadian to America to work out in the sun is like putting an ice cube in the microwave and thinking it would stay frozen. It was lunch, me, Andy and Norman gathered in the small sitting room away from everyone else, I didn't like crowds, and being around a lot of people drained my social battery.
If you're asking why I went into acting, I honestly don't know, some casting director saw one of the plays I did, I only signed up so I could avoid my parents who were going threw a bitter divorce at the time and wanted to sign me so I said fuck it and tried it, turns out it was a good choice. It didn't take long for me to get more offers after the horror called, "she's watching" that I starred in skyrocketed in theaters and flew to number one in the box office. I turned some of them down until I got the call for a guest appearance on the walking dead. I loved the comics and the show so I said yes before seeing the contract, hell they could have paid me in cast signatures and I still would have said yes.
I was only supposed to be in a few episodes but when the trailer aired and got a lot of hype and the actual episode where I was first introduced the ratings skyrocketed. So they kept me on. My popularity was growing and it was hard to keep up with it. I played a character called Ash, she saved Rick's life while he was out on a run soon after the group got to Alexandria. My character was so popular they decided to make her Rick's love interest.
That did not help the giant crush I had on the man, and the kissing scenes we had just added fuel to the fire, he got a divorce last year so I wasn't going to throw myself at him, just be the supportive friend I was. Andy sat down on the sofa with a rather sad look on his face so I thought I would try to cheer him up a little and take his mind off it.
I sat sort of facing him with my right leg under me and my arm across his shoulder, Norman got himself a large cup of coffee and leaned on the wall across from us "What's up buck-a-roo" Andy groaned "really" I smiled at him "yes really, I like your name. Shame they made you change it" I played with his hair, his shoulders relaxed and he adjusted into a more comfortable position.
"So you wouldn't mind being called Clutterbuck" he cocked his eyebrow "only if it came with a ring and you in my bed" Norman spat out his coffee. I gave Andy a kiss on the cheek and left the room. That is not what I was going for but it just slipped out.
"That was fucking smooth" Norman practically yelled.
