After the movie, I was half asleep.
Everyone chattered about how good the movie was but I leaned against the side of the trunk and closed my eyes.

"It was fun, thanks for inviting us Mr. Yamada." Lynn said.

"Wake up, Y/N! Let's go!"
Lori said. I woke up and waved to Amy and Bruce.

As we walked home, Lori smiled at me. "Be honest, do you love Bruce?" She teased. Lynn chuckled. "Oooh!"

"Stop! He's just a friend!" I smiled.
"Yeah, just a friend." Lynn said
"Just a friend you stare at, smile att, hug, feel his hair, tickle him-" Lori teased, you covered her mouth.

"Stoop!~" i whined. The two chuckled, I smiled.

"It's clear you like him, y/n." Lynn grinned.

"I don't. He's just a friend." I said. Lynn rolled her eyes.

Lorelai unlocked the house and we came in. I dropped dead on the couch.

"Come on, it's still 9PM. Let's do something!" Lorelai said. I frowned, drowning in the couch.

"She's melting." Lynn snorted.

"What do we even do?" Lynn sat next to me.

"I don't know! Let's invite Amy and Bruce and play dumb games!" Lorelai said. Lynn nodded. "Sounds good."

Lorelai called Bruce.

"Hey! Hey wanna come over? If you have the time.. mhm. Yeah. Just to play dumb games. Yeah she's gonna be here? She isn't that sleepy anymore. Alright. Yeah. Bye." Lorelai hung up.

"That was awkward as fuck." Lynn teased.

Amy knocked, I answered. "Hi!" I said, Amy smiled and hugged me, she came in and Bruce followed her.

We all sat in a circle. "What should we play?" Lorelai asked.

"Truth or dare?" Lynn said.
"Sounds fun!" Lorelai said.

"I'll go first?" Lori said. We nodded.

"Alright, truth or dare, Amy?" Lori asked. Amy thought for a few seconds. "Dare!"

"I dare you to tell us a huge secret you've never told anyone. Not even Bruce." Lori grinned.

I leaned in to hear.

"Uh, well.." Amy muttered.
"I had a crush on Vance hopper a few months ago." Amy grinned, Lynn and I squealed and chuckled, Bruce's jaw dropped and Lorelai just laughed.

"Stop! I thought he was pretty!" Amy pouted.

"Y/N! Truth or dare?" Amy asked, I hesitated.

"Truth!" I smiled.

"Do you have your eyes on anyone? Other than Raymond?" Amy grinned. Bruce stared at me.

"It's complicated." I smiled, I looked at bruce- he looked away.

"It's a yes or no question!" Amy clapped. I rolled my eyes.

"Fine, yes. I do." I grunted and smiled. Bruce looked around.

It hit 12AM. Amy was passed out on our couch, everyone was .
Other than Bruce and I.

We sat next to each other. It was awkward.
"Uhm. So, who do you have your eyes on?" Bruce asked me.

I snorted. "Like I'd tell you." I smiled. He pouted.

"Just tell me!" He shook me. I shook my head.

"Nope. Not happening." I grinned. Bruce whined.

"Fine, I have my eyes on someone too. If I tell, will you~?" He said. I shook my head. "Not a chance."

I felt a bit sad he had his eyes on someone else. Gosh, cut it out y/n. You had no chance with him anyway.

"Why don't you break up with Raymond?" Bruce said, sitting next to me.

"I'm afraid of what he's gonna do." I muttered.

"Let's say this. If I come with you to school tomorrow, and stay behind you.. will you break up with him? For good?" He said, looking into my eyes.

"I don't know.." I muttered. He grabbed onto my hands and held them.

"Please?" He pleaded. I sighed.

"Okay." I smiled. He smiled and stretched.

I leaned back on the couch, closing my eyes and falling asleep.

I woke up. It was 6AM and I was laying on Bruce's shoulder, his head rested on mine.

I slowly slipped out the position and blushed. I quickly got ready.

I woke my sisters up. Then woke Amy and Bruce.

I couldn't get last night, or the sleeping position off my head. I just waited on the front porch for everyone.

Lorelai and Lynn came out with the same clothes from yesterday. So did Amy and Bruce. They just washed their faces.

"Let's go!" I smiled, we all walked to school.
Bruce walked to me.

He came really close, it startled me and I got red. But he just wanted to whisper something in my ear.

"Remember the deal?" He whispered. I nodded nervously.

"Don't be nervous.'okay?" He told me. I nodded.

"Y/N and I are gonna do something, you guys go ahead!" Bruce smiled. Lorelai and Lynn chuckled and muttered to each other, Amy smirked.

I went up to Raymond and checked behind me to make sure Bruce is watching.

"What." Raymond said, angrily.

"I wanna break up. For real." I muttered. He snorted.

"Yeah right. You can't." He said and smirked.

".. well I will!
And I'm not letting myself get manipulated by you. Not again. We're over! Leave me alone!" I shouted. Raymond stood silent as I stormed off.

Bruce smiled, I smiled. I felt free again. He pulled me into a tight, warm hug. I wanted to hug back but I was just so startled.

I loved when Bruce was affectionate.
I loved BRUCE.

He let me go and smiled warmly. I smiled as well. He fixed my hair and grabbed my hand.

"Which class is your next class?" He smiled. I looked at my schedule.

"Miss Tobbins." I said.

"I'll walk you there." He smiled. I shook my head.

"It's fine." I smiled.
"Can you sit with me at lunch today!" He asked. I was a bit startled.

"Oh. Yes. Sure."
I felt happy. I felt so so happy.
He smiled and waved. I waved back. He walked away.
