Chapter 7: "24 Hours left"

It is Monday and the Girls got ready for school and Mom packed their lunches in their lunchboxes. Kamiya and Katie ate some Reece Puffs and Katlyn had her eggs, grits and fruit for breakfast. Mom went outside to put Katlyn in her car seat while the other two were still eating. They threw their trash away and then walked outside to Mom's car. Katie got in the front seat of the car and she put Kamiya in the back with Katlyn. School was only 15 minutes away from home so it didn't take long at all. This is Katie's last year in elementary so she has to make it count. I believe Kamiya is in 2nd grade. And Katlyn is in daycare.

Ms.Wilson dropped off Katie and Kamiya off at school and took Katlyn to daycare. She tried to hurry so she can go to work, and she didn't want to be late. Good thing Katlyn's daycare isn't but 3 minutes away. Ms.Wilson had to drive 25 minutes to get to work on time. She works from 9am-5 pm on Monday's, 8am-6pm on Tuesday's and Wednesday's and the rest of the week is 10-7 pm.

Mom arrived at work and signed in on the paper. After she signed in she went in her office and got to work. Ms.Wilson was very busy at her job she all she wanted was peace and quiet they way she don't have much to do everyday. She's a very busy and independent woman. It's a good thing it was a half day at work, which means Ms.Wilson can sit at home and relax. They gave everyone 2 days off from working so hard. When she was about to leave work she gets a phone call. An interesting phone call.

An unknown number. Ms.Wilson really doesn't answer unknown numbers but her heart felt like it was filled with stone and she was so nervous. Phone buzzing in her hand and she couldn't focus on her work anymore so she answered the phone. "Hello?", Ms.Wilson says with a frowning face. "Hahahaha......well well well, Ms. Kiera Wilson", said her boss talking slowly in an evil tone. "Who's this?", Ms.Wilson said looking at the phone. "Oh, don't act like you don't know me, I need you to do me a favor before tomorrow morning comes", her boss says viciously. "Until you tell me who you are then I'm not doing shit for you", Ms.Wilson says holding the speaker to her mouth. "Seems like the tension is shooting right at me, I pick the rock up and observe it, looking at the sky and...............it's aiming right at you........hahahaha", her boss says crossing his legs. "What are you talking about? And how do you even know my name?", Ms.Wilson said.

"Kiera, don't be so anxious now, you see me 2 times a week don't act like I won't put this punitive action on you, don't do that, I suggest you be smart", said boss shaking his head. "Boss, look, you don't have to do this to me, I am literally working trying to make these last couple dollars before I leave here safe and sound", said Ms.Wilson in her soft voice. "I didn't ask where you were, I just wanted a favor done for me, that's all, but.......if it's not done by 9:15 am tomorrow, you will be departed without anyone ever knowing, I need $600k right here on my desk with a checklist of everything I am about to send to your phone, tomorrow, by 9:30 am", said boss. "Got it?", Boss says again. "I guess", Wilson says getting off of work.

Boss hung up and Ms.Wilson walked to her car looking at her text messages. Her boss sent her 10 items that he wanted along with the money he told her to get. He also sent her the location he wants her to go to so she wouldn't be lost. She called the Kayden's house phone number and asked him to pick up his little sisters from school and Katlyn from Daycare today and keep them at his house until tomorrow. It was only 10:34 am and Ms.Wilson checked the message with the list and location again. She only has 24 hours to get this done or else she'll be dead. But if she didn't get the job done and boss attempts to do anything, she would have to fight him for assault. The check light has a flashlight, a machete, a bat, an computer, a briefcase, some Q-tips, some napkins/tissue, a suit, knife, a and professor jacket. No way he needs all this stuff but for what though? Is he working on something or trying to go in someone's body? We'll figure it out.

Ms.Wilson goes to the store and picks up a flashlight, a briefcase, some Q-tips and some tissue first so it could be off her list. She feel like she'll get this done in no time. It is now 11:39 am and she has plenty time left. She checked off her list from the items she bought and headed to the next destination. She then headed to the gun store for the machete and the bat along with the knife. The man in the store purchased her items but was just moving a little too slow. She pointed the knife at him and made him speedup his process, then he opened the cash register and hands over $400k to Ms.Wilson. She was getting happy so she beat the man up and took everything she bought and the money she already has.

She put the money in this large bag she has in the car. She zipped the bag back up and drove off quickly. Time is now 12:55 pm and she still had a lot more time left. All she needed off the list was a suit , the computer and the professor jacket. She also has only $400k and she needed $600k for her Boss. She tried to get to Pennsylvania because that's the only place Ms.Wilson knows that has money around.

She went in her villain mode. She took some guns with her in the store just for protection. The Buzzer scanned her as she walked through the doors and the security guards tried to grab her but she started fighting them. She beat both of them up and ran in the store far in. She searched for a cashier and waited in line. As she waited she got a text from Kayden, really Katie texting from his phone. The text said, "Mom, this is Katie, where are you?". She didn't want to reply back but she told her she was at a meeting with her caseworker. Finally, everyone's asleep and Ms Wilson puts the items in her nice and clean closet. She had to take a break from getting all that stuff and it was just giving her a rattle. Ms.Wilson takes a fresh shower, eats her dinner then goes to sleep.

The next day, Ms.Wilson was up and was down to 2 hours. She got the girls up and ready for school and drove them down there safely. Then she dropped off Katlyn to daycare to her appropriate teacher. She drove herself on the highway to get to the store. Once she got in the store she walked around and took out some of her money. After everything was bought she went up to the cashier for an exchangeable amount of money. It was 5 people in front of her and all the other lines were too long.

The line moved up and Ms.Wilson was next in line. She pulled out $100k so she couldn't exchange it for $200k more and she got the money back. All she needed was $100k more and she's ready to go to her boss's office. She ran out the store hurriedly to her car and drove to another gun store.

The gun store wasn't that far so she drove to it and parked her car. She walked in the store and saw the man looking at her. "You're gonna have to come back tomorrow the store is closed", say the man packing his bags. "I just need $100k", Ms.Wilson  said. "I don't have that for you sorry", the man said raising his hands and shrugging his shoulders. When he walked by her she grabbed him by his shirt sticking her long sharp nails in his neck. He felt the pain really bad and he started choking. She looked him dead in the eyes while her nails were in in his skin she pointed the powers she had glitching in her eyes and blasted him that made him fall on the ground. She walked to the cash register and took $200k and walk back to her car. Finally, she had everything now she needs to get to Boss's office before her time runs out. There was only 1 hour and 15 minutes left.
