Chapter 9: "Court day"

At the court, the jury, the policeman and the victims are at the front waiting for the session to begin. The incident was that Dr.Karen assaulted Ms. Wilson and her kids claiming that they took something out of a jewelry store. But there was no evidence and plus Ms Wilson had all her receipts that she gotten after she paid for the items. This all led to a fight and kidnapped attempt to the children. Judge speaks and announces the case.

"Victim #1, Ms Wilson, we learned that you and your three beautiful little children were just arriving at a store, correct?", Judge Macy said. "Correct", Ms. Wilson said with her hands behind her back. "And when you were about to enter, you were attacked by some vicious people, and they seemed to get smacked in the face by one of them, specifically this woman over here correct?", Judge Macy said holding her hand out. "Yes", Ms Wilson said rubbing her lips together. "And you hit her back to where an authentication happens and the guards tried to take your children, do you know why all of this happened, Ms Wilson?", Judge Macy says. "No I don't, and your honor, I'm not a well-known person to even know anybody like that, and I try my hardest to protect my kids, no matter where they are at, I want to make sure they are in good hands around open space", Ms Wilson said. "Ok, when your opponent said you stole something out the store, did you steal or did you purchase anything out that store?", Judge Macy questioned her. "I have all 3 receipts in my bag, if you want me to reveal them I can most certainly do that", Ms. Wilson said. "Ok, do you mind my asking your girls a question?", Judge Macy says. "You definitely can", Ms Wilson said.

"Ok, hey little ones, you guys are Katie, Kamiya and Katlyn is that correct", Judge Macy said as she smiled at them. "Yes, your honor!", the girls says. "Ok, do any of y'all see your mom take anything out the store y'all was In recently?", Judge Macy asked.
"No, after she purchased everything she made sure all the receipts were tucked in her purse", Katie says.
"Ok thank you guys, I appreciate that", Judge Macy says.

"Victim #2, Dr.Karen, is that right?", Judge Macy asked looking at her. "Yes, your honor", Dr.Karen responded. "Ok, now I just explained the whole case, tell me your side of the story so I can clarify that", Judge Macy says. "Ok, your honor, I was in my lab working on new technologies for my new product that just came out and I was taking care of a patient because they were dying and I used my machine I invented and pumped it on the heart. After that I had a bad feeling, and one of my workers that was in my lab were watching cameras and he claimed that this woman was taking our gadget and stealing from a store while her kids were with her and-", Dr.Karen stopped while Judge Macy interrupted her. "Well, Why were you watching those cameras?", Judge Macy says turning her head to the side. "Because I found that one of my gadgets was left there and she threw it in the trash, but I didn't notice until I looked in the last place I was in", Dr. Karen said raising her hands out. "That's no excuse, you should've threatened the lady, she was just trying to get in and get out, that's real pathetic of you. Your guilty", Judge Macy says.

Judge whispers to the police about the time she should do in jail. "I expect 20 years of you behind bars until we can resolve this conflict. They began to lock her up and Ms.Wilson and her kids were free to leave. Ms Kiera wanted to get Katie prepared for her graduation on Tuesday.
