A Slicing Chapter One

- Sheinz' Body -

I woke up shaking and feeling a bit scared . That dream again , no let me rephrase that , its a nightmare . The past few weeks , I always dreamed the same nightmares . It's really getting into my nerves .

I checked my wrist watch knowing that the time is exactly 5:30 A.M .

Better get going . I yawn for the last time and prepared the water I'm gonna use to take a bath . After filling the tub . I took a bath .

Oh , pardon me , I forgot to introduced myself . Im Sheinz Azure Carnation . A Senior that means I'm already 15 years old . Got my own life and apartment but my parents are still supporting me financially . Got a reddish - yellow hair that can almost reach my knees and a set of pale blue eyes . And also Im a pure American .

After taking a bath . I wore the school uniform that's already been prepared by me yesterday . I did my morning rituals as usual , just putting light make up and a light pink lipstick , nothing heavy just simple make up . After that I went to the kitchen and cooked breakfast . Just bacon , pancakes and orange juice . Typical American Breakfast .

After that , I locked my apartment then started walking to school . Besides , its just walking distance and It's still early . I checked the time again , 6:45 A.M . Surely , I will reach school on time .

Reaching my destination , I hurriedly went to my room before I met them again . Upon entering the room , they started to whisper something . Weird .

How ?

When they usually whisper , it's more like shouting actually . Once they started whispering , you can actually hear them . Got it ?

But now ... Just buzzing ... Everything's real strange lately .

What's happening now ? Is it a trend to change yourself - your style - ?

When the prof came and started blabbering the lessons they actually listened not like before . Is this some kind of prank ? A joke ? This is absolutely not funny . And also my bestfriend , Gem Hurst , did'nt came . She was absent . This is really getting weirder . My bestfriend is really grade conscious and she don't like to be marked as absent , you know ? . She still even go to school even when she is badly sick . Weird right ?

When the bell rang , I went to the cafeteria for some snacks . I am starving right now . But when I got there , they start to whisper again . Strange . Maybe I should ask my reliable source . Janette Crimson . Well she's a bookworm . A gorgeous bookworm , she don't wear cheap clothes and she got a great taste in fashion . She is good at socializing too . She is a reliable information for some stuffs .

' Jan , I demand you to tell me what's going on right now ! ' I said ' Why are they acting like that ? Acting so strange ? '

' Whoa ! Calm down Ashz ' she said .

How can I calm down when everthing weird ? Okay , I might be exaggerating too much but I can't hold on to these weirdness .

' To be exact , I don't know what are they talking about . ' she uttered while staring back at my pale blue eyes .

What the ? Now she's acting strange ? What's going on here ? Wait a minute , are they hiding something ? But what ?

I'm overthinking now . Maybe I just need to rest . I'm going home , Prof said there's no classes this afternoon anyway .

I woke up again ! That nightmare . Why is this happening to me ? Why am I dreaming of that again ! This is just so strange .

Can I get a rest ?

Can you people give me peace ?

This life is just so stupid .

I just checked my cellphone hopng that it would clear my mind and make things better . There are no missed calls and just 1 text . Hmmm . It's from Jasmine Bliss . The silent type in class . And it says ' Call Me ' . Why not ? Maybe it's good news . I better call right now I desperately need somebody to tell me what's going on right now .

Calling Jasmine

' Hello ' I greeted her .

But she did'nt response . All I hear is noise . Wait a minute , is she partying ?

' Jasmine , Hello '

' A-ashz , I-is that y-you ? ' she asked .

' Who do you think it is ? ' I responded . But why did she sound so scared ?

' I-it is y-you , I've got s-something to t-tell y-you '

' What ? ' I said curiously .

' B-bad n-news '

' Lend it on '

Why is it bad news ? And why am I keep asking questions to myself ? Am I getting crazy ? Okay , I should keep it together .

' A-ashz , G-gem ' after she said Gem tears can be heard on the other side . What is going on ? ' G-gem Is D-dead '

When she said that . I hang up . Gem is dead ? How come ? They knew already ? But how ?

I just can't believe it . My bestfriend , Gem is ...... Dead !
