~Niki's POV~

I woke up to someone repeatedly knocking on my door.

"Who is it" I grumble, rolling over in bed.

"Me. Your best friend." I heard Belle say.

"Oh. Come on in" I fix my hair real fast and sit up.

She opened the door and came in.

"Good morning" she smiled, sitting on my bed.

I grunt and lay back down.

"Get up Niki. I want to go to the park"

"No"

"Please" she smiles.

"Fine" I sigh, getting out of bed.

"I'll let you get ready" she says, leaving the room.

I shower and pick out an outfit. I do my makeup and brush my hair before leaving the bathroom to see Belle sitting on my bed.

I admire her outfit. Cuffed jeans and a sweater vest.

"What?" she says, giggling

"Hm?" I hum, looking at her.

"You're staring at me" she laughs, blushing slightly.

"You're nice to stare at" I smile, sitting down next to her.

We stare at each other for a while before she clears her throat and stands up.

"We should get going" she says, leaving me alone with my thoughts.

Did I do something wrong?

I sigh and stand up, following her.

"We're going to the park" I yell, hoping they heard me.

"Be safe!" Wilbur yells back.

Belle grabs my hand and pulls me along, intertwining her fingers in-between mine. I feel my face heat up as she dragged me to the park.

We sat down at the bench and listened to music.

After a while, I heard her yawn.

"What time did you go to sleep?" I smile, looking into her tired eyes.

"I didn't." she grumbles, looking away.

"Well that wasn't very smart now was it" I giggle.

"Definitely not"

"Want to go home"

"Sure" she yawns again.

The walk home was slow, us holding hands and talking about random stuff.

When we got home I brought her into my room where it was more comfortable.

"Are you sure?" she asked, sitting down.

"Of course" I smile, leaving the room and turning the light off.

"Wait"

I turn around and see her wriggling her way to the other side of the bed.

"Come here" she smiles, patting the space next to her.

"Are you sure"

"It's not like we haven't cuddled before" she giggles, getting under the blanket.

I join her and wrap my arms around her, pulling her close.

"Just a quick nap" she whispered groggily.

"Yup" I say, nuzzling my head into her hair.

A few minutes later, her breathing slowed down. She was asleep.

I fell asleep soon after, Belle in my arms.
